WSJ reports no deal, no horse-trading with Russia to solve the Syria stand off. It is not clear why Obama, who is cornered with the lack of of support in the House is not willing to make a deal on something like US non-interference in Chechnya in exchange for the Russian non-interference in Syria, which could end the stand off without a blood shed

Obama has a strong interest in aiding the Syrian rebels by attacking Assad. If Assad loses, Syria will become another Islamic theocracy, much to Obama’s satisfaction. Remember; Obama got rid of Egypyt’s Mobarak so that the Muslim Brotherhood could come into power. After the military coup deposed Morsi, Obama did everything he could to help Morsi, and the Muslim Brotherhood, regain power.

Will there be a vote in the house or will speaker Boehner cancel the vote because of the humiliation and embarrassment for the President.? !!!!!!

we don’t know yet.
Theoretically the measure can die in the armed services committee. If majority in the committee do not vote for the measure, it will not come out to the full vote in the House.
