What should Mitch McConnell do? Wait till Feb 27 and do what Harry Reid did, change Senate voting rule from 60 to 51 and pass the DHS funding with ban on funding of illegal, enjoined Obama-amnesty

What should Mitch McConnell do? Wait till Feb 27 and do what Harry Reid did, change Senate voting rule from 60 to 51 and pass the DHS funding with ban on funding of illegal, enjoined Obama-amnesty.

Harry Reid changed the senate voting rule in order to appoint some 81 liberal judges with only 51 senate votes. Previously confirmations required 60 votes.

Reid claimed that it was necessary because Republicans were obstructionists.

Now it is time for Republicans to do the same in regards to all the other votes.  DHS funding expires by Feb 28. McConnell should give Dems time till Feb 27 and then announce that since DHS funding is extremely important and Dems are obstructionists, McConnell will have no other choice and follow Harry Reid’s example and change the voting rule on other votes, not just on confirmation of judges. On February 27 McConnell should hold 2 consecutive votes. First, change the rule from 60 to 51, second pass DHS funding with exclusion of funding for Obama’s amnesty and demand that Obama sign it, as DHS is important, demand that Obama does not hold DHS funding hostage to his desire to pull lawless amnesty.

They don’t want to offend the devil with the broken face and glasses, even though he flaunted his rule change in everyone of their faces. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! Grow a set McConnell!

This is a brilliant idea. Senate needs to pass the House bill that funds DHS, except for $ to implement Obama’s Executive Memo (not an Executive Order).

Charles Krauthammer advocated the exact same thing. #GOP should Force Obama to veto funding for DHS just because he wants to continue his lawless counterfeiting of immigration documents.

Yeah, are these people in charge totally brain dead? or is it that they don’t want/dare to bring the vote down to just a majority rule (51)?

We still have Abbot and Costello: Boehner and McConnell…when will the others in both chambers have some spunk and bring in (2) other leaders, to do the job?????

    What a gutless tribe!!!
