   Actually, all those so-called corrupt judges struck down the various states’ gay marriage bans on the grounds the bans violated the US Constitution’s Equal Protection clause. So the judges were in fact following constitutional law.

   no, they are following the fad of political correctness. There is nothing in US constitution saying that a man has a right to marry another man or a woman has a right to marry another woman. Definition of marriage is a state issue, not a federal issue. Supreme court has already ruled that DOMA should not be applied not because it is unconstitutional, but because it is a state issue. As such federal judges violated the Constitution and the holding of the supreme Court by butting into the state issues and redefining marriage in the way overbearing and despotic federal judges want to redefine it. for example, a 17 year old does not have a constitutional right to get married. In Alabama he can get married at 17, in CA it is “not so fast, buddy”. In all the states a marriage is defined as a union between one man and one woman. If some states voted to allow one man to marry one woman or one man, so be it. However this is not a constitutional right according to the US constitution. For Federal judges to throw away the will of majority of the state population as they did in CA in throwing away the will of 40 million people who voted that marriage is a union between one man and one woman, is a flagrant abuse of power, it is federal judiciary infringing upon the rights clearly reserved for the people, it is judicial tyranny. this issue hasnot been settled as the Supreme Court has never decided that gay and lesbian marriage is a constitutional right. CA proposition 8 was not heard at the Supreme Court on the merits, Supreme Court refused to hear the issue because our corrupt Attorney General Kamela Harris was derelict in her duties and refused to protect the state law and the Supreme Court refused to allow the proponents of prop 8 to defend the law in the supreme Court stating that only the state has standing. You will see different challenges rising to the Supreme Court and demanding adjudication of whether it is a state right to define marriage. I am convinced that ultimately the Supreme Court will rule this to be a state right. I also predict that the states will start revolting and seeking secession from the US due to an unprecedented abuse of the federal government and federal judiciary, just as people are rising in Great Britain, France, Catalonia, Wales, Holland and seeking secession from the EU, just as 14 former Soviet Republics seceded from the Soviet Union. You cannot abuse majority of population and spit in their face till no end. Sooner or later people revolt.

   Larry is correct. While it is true that there is nothing in the constitution that says same sex couples can get married, there is the equal protection clause.

   It’s “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. That is what drives this nation and determines its laws.

   Would you not agree that if a same sex couple wants to get married and that is what makes them happy then they are going for their pursuit of happiness?

   From reading your blog here, you seem to be very tied up in communistic thinking. Is it due to being raised in the Soviet Union? Is it really that difficult for you to move away from that system?

   People are going to start to think that you are a communist.

   nonsense. If a 50 year old man wants to marry a 15 year old girl, he might say that it is for a pursuit of happiness, however as anything else in life a pursuit of happiness is not absolute. The society places some boundaries. In CA this boundary is age of consent of 18. similarly the society placed a boundary on marriage in that it is a union of a one man and one woman, not one man and 2 wowen, not one men and another man. corrupt judges simply redefine marriage the way they wish and abuse and exceed the jurisdiction given to them. Actually in a communist state the judges acted the way they do today, they abused their power and disregarded the will of the people. This is totalitarianism, everyone has to abide by the thinking of dear leaders.

   marriage. The Judges are attempting to grab

   power for the Fed GOVT and restrain and stop

   religion. That is the Communist way, silly boy.

   ‘sodomy’ is a sacred sacrament to bless and
