UPI 11 hours ago
WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 (UPI) — The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll released Friday shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 2.3 percentage points. The online poll shows Clinton with 48.36 percent to Trump’s 46.05 percent. Clinton dropped nearly 0.6 percent from Thursday’s poll, while Trump held almost exactly steady. Overall, there has been a shift of 0.6 percent upward for Clinton and 2.5 percent down for Trump over the course of a full seven-day sample. The poll has not yet incorporated data in the wake of Trump’s last-minute trip to Mexico or his hardline speech that followed on Wednesday detailing his stance on illegal immigration.
