Dear Orly,
A few minutes ago, I watched Ted Cruz being interviewed on foxnews. He said words to the effect that his eligibility is a settled issue because his mother is an American citizen, and that makes him a ‘natural born citizen’.
I was amazed to watch his facial expression as he said this lie in all earnestness, expecially as he is known for his Constitutioal knowledge and expertise.
I was so irritated that I immediately changed the channel.

Sorry Ted, but you are a fraudster, a prankster,
and a joker. Above all, you are a Canadian.
You cannot even prove that your mother was a
divorced American.
Lies, lies, lies. Worse than Obama???
Book him, jail him, Danno!!!

Dear Orly,
In answer to your question at #3: “who interviewed Cruz? How is settled? Did anyone ask Cruz if he had a Canadian passport?”
Here is the website of Dana Bash’s CNN interview of Ted Cruz (commercial comes on first):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_NKiPtqrTE
Ted Cruz talks guns citizenship and immigration
1:58/5:09 Cruz: “Oh look, the legal issue is straightforward, the son of a US citizen born abroad is a natural-born-citizen”
[in slow motion, as Cruz says “the legal”, he has closed his eyes and then opens them again as he says “issue”]
2:04/5:09 Bash: “But, it’s never been tested. You know full well, ’cause you’ve done it on other issues…”
2:06/5:09 Cruz: “Listen, the Constitution and laws of the United States are straightforward. The very first Congress defined the child of a US citizen born abroad as a natural-born-citizen….. At the end of the day this is a non-issue…”
2:58/5:09 Bash: “Just button this up though, on the issue of the passport…”
3:00/5:09 Cruz: “What passport?
3:01/5:09 Bash: “Donald Trump is suggesting, saying that you had a Canadian passport.”
3:05/5:09 Cruz” “It’s not true.”
[in slow motion, Cruz closes eyes on words “not true”]
3:06/5:09 Bash: “False? You never had a Canadian passport?”
3:06/5:09 Cruz: ” No, no, of course not.”
[Cruz closes his eyes again on the word “No”]
3:07/5:09 Bash: “In your entire life?”
3:08/5:09 Cruz: “No, of course not.”
3:09/5:09 Bash: “And you are sure, you asked your Mother, you asked your Dad, you never had one?”
[Cruz closes his eyes again on words “Mother” and “Dad”]
3:11/5:09 Cruz: “Yes, I’m sure and how about, look, the media, with all due resepct, love to engage in silly side shows. We need to focus on what matters.”
