Today Alex Jones Infowars posted an audio clip by Mark Dice where he repeated word for word what I wrote yesterday: you cannot punish someone for what he said in the privacy of his own home, which was illegally recorded. Moron Commissioner Adam Silver is an attorney and he knew that.
I was shocked when Silver was asked by Kelly file reporter, whether it was a slippery slope to punish someone for something he sad in the privacy of his own home. (by the way, she is the same reported, who interviewed me in DC) Silver responded that even though it was a private statement, it became public and it represents his views.
People are not punished for their views. We do not have mind police, let’s hope we don’t. People can only be punished for their deeds, for their acts. You cannot be punished for what you think, only for what you do. Your home is your castle and you cannot be punished for something you said in your conversation to your wife or your friend in the privacy of your own home about a third person. Silver knew that this is totally illegal.
Silver was supposed to state that the statement Sterling made was indeed racist and inappropriate, he should have admonished Sterling to try to not to make such statements, maybe there should have been a statement by Sterling apologizing to the public for the fact that an inappropriate private statement was illegally recorded by a girlfriend with a grudge and he is sorry that people got hurt, but you cannot fine someone $2.5 million and ban him for life from attending games of his own team for something he said in the privacy of his own home. Do you remember Linda Tripp, who was prosecuted for making illegal recordings of Monica Lewinsky? Similarly, this woman, should be prosecuted for making an illegal recording. She was the woman, who hurt many by illegally recording a private statement and making it public and hurting feelings of so many in the process.
