The latest find off the coast of Australia appear to be a dead end as well.
First, based on speculations the 80 ft and 20 ft objects are 14 miles apart, which is unlikely by itself. second- 80 feet part of the plane would not float for 8 days (the time the image was made), it would sink. also, the area is far away of any airports and runways, which would be an unlikely destination and the object, which some believe to be the plane, is facing the wrong way, facing North. Also, the group that monitors nuclear explosions and would register a seismic effect of a crash of a plane like Boeing 777, did not record any crash. satellite constellation, which picks the transmissions of emergency beacons, did not record any transmission.
It would be of value to study the satellite images of the area for March 8th, the day of the flight, and see if something shows up on those images.

This whole episode seems so reminiscent of the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and ensuing staged search for her and her plane. From the beginning, they knew she had been captured but they would not reveal what they knew to the japanese because it would reveal they had broke the japanese code, and they would not reveal to the American public that they abandoned an American heroine to be executed.
We can only speculate on the motives and involvement in this case, but, I will not believe they are in the dark as to what is behind this disappearance and the final destination of this airliner.
