My take is that the point is we are taxed too much and have open borders. Thanks to democrats. This by the way is blamed on the GOP who have a record of fighting against both of those policies. The message is clear to me. The democrats should stop taking our money and future earnings and secure our borders.

I believe the time is now to replace the IRS with the FairTax. Those IRS employees could opt to volunteer for duty at the border.

The fact that there are Rinos is not an excuse to vote for more democrats and not to vote for a Rino. I am sure the campaign managers could tell you exactly what the gain and loss to the two parties is. In modern times the democrats only get control after the conservatives have restored peace and prosperity at which time the democrats regain control by playing all their corruption cards. Maybe this time it is too late to recover.

don’t get me wrong. In general election, if it is between Romney or Clinton, I will vote for Romney, however in the primary, I would like to see an alternative

The personal income tax generates less than half of the Fed Gov’s revenue.
Read the Constitution. AT LEAST 80% of gov’t spending is for unauthorized purposes. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land, and is THE PEOPLE’s mandate of the powers delegated to the CREATURE THEY CREATED thru their state representatives. Our gov’t, in all 3 branches, has been violating that mandate for decades. Breaking the law is the definition of a criminal act.
They have gotten away with it for decades because so many like you are willing to tolerate a CRIMINAL gov’t, a gov’t of men, not laws, who do what they please despite what their boss, the people, have ordered. And virtually every member of the Federal legislature regularly violates his oath of office to uphold the law of the Constitution.
Coming from an accessory to this criminality, your opinion is hardly one that deserves any notice whatsoever. This note is a courtesy — a suggestion you get your act together, make sure you form your opinion on the relevant facts, and stop being an accessory to criminal activity just because all your friends are too.
There are MANY victims to the crimes being committed by the gov’t and the dumbed-down population which tolerates its criminal activity. Don’t be dumbed-down just cuz all your friends, your criminal representatives, and so many journalists (and other “news” sources) are.

I think that we should make all left-wing, teasonous types do this…so they can actually see what comes across the border!
We need them to see the trash of 3rd world types with all sorts of diseases coming into America.
And maybe some of them come down with something, to make them realize just how insane this open border treason really is!

Cruz was speaking at the Heritage foundation. It was excellent. What he said was, “if IRS agents, all 110,000 were on the boarder the people trying to cross would see all these IRS agents and turn around and run back to Mexico. So, it was sort of said in jest, however, he really does mean to changed the tax code and eliminate the need for the IRS. Rand Paul has upped him though by saying he’d get rid of the UN! Now I would like to see all these unelected bureaucrats patrolling the US boarder without guns to protect themselves. Since that’s what they want to do to us.

We wouldn’t have any of the current problems if any GOP candidate had been elected, no matter who, instead of Clinton and Obama. We fall into the same trap set for us by liberals over and over by bashing each other instead of making the democrats run on their record. It is the so called swing voters that make the difference. When we bash ourselves we loose them. They get the wrong message and just keep voting for freebies and blaming the GOP for the disaster that the swing voters voted for. The GOP and media should just stick to the issues. The GOP candidates should point to the differences between their positions but make it clear that the polices of democrats are the problem not the policies of the GOP. The media always glamorize the swing voter as thoughtful and open minded when it has been shown that they usually vote for the entitlements. Reagan won twice and in a landslide the second time by making the democrats run on their record and pointing out how he was the most qualified to fix our problems and why.
