Syndicated talk show host Michael Savage: Today’s religious leaders are useless cowards

Welcome to The Michael Savage Newsletter, your daily insider report on all things “Savage.”
In today’s issue: Dr. Savage repeated his call to America’s religious leaders to stand up for the persecuted Coptic Christians in Egypt.
He added that if rabbis and ministers across the nation would speak and act like leaders instead of cowards, the churches and synagogues would be full every week.

“In a few weeks, the Jewish people celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year,” Savage noted, adding:
Obama will have a service in the White House.
That will be an opportunity for one of the “pet” rabbis he invites to speak out on behalf of the Coptic Christians.
What else are they there for? To talk about gay rights, like other religious figures do all the time?
The fact is, they’re cowards.
These political religious figures are useless.
That’s why the synagogues and churches are largely empty.
People go there for spiritual renewal and they come home with a sour stomach.
People would go every week if there was a fiery leader who would talk about the truth and spirituality and what was going on in the world.
They’d be back in droves. They couldn’t keep them away.
Instead they have to hear the same old mumbo jumbo.
