   According to the New York Times, On Thursday, a Baltimore television station, WJLA, reported that according to unnamed law enforcement sources, ”the medical examiner found Gray’s catastrophic injury was caused when he slammed into the back of the police transport van, apparently breaking his neck.”

   But the state office of the chief medical examiner, which conducted the autopsy, has not made any findings, or reported any to law enforcement. “We don’t do preliminary findings, and the investigation isn’t concluded,” a spokesman, Bruce Goldfarb, said. In addition, officials briefed on the investigations cast doubt on the report.

   Baltimore Police Finish Inquiry Into Death of Freddie Gray

   The Baltimore police on Thursday handed over to prosecutors the results of their much-anticipated initial investigation into the fatal injury suffered by a young man in their custody, including the discovery that a police van carrying the man made a previously undisclosed stop en route to a police station.

   The new stop turned up on video taken from “a privately owned camera,” said the deputy police commissioner, Kevin Davis. He added that it was “previously unknown to us,” but he did not elaborate.

   His statement suggested that no police officers told investigators about the stop. Six officers have been suspended with pay over the death of Freddie Gray, who suffered a lethal injury to his neck while in police custody. Asked later if the commanders were saying that officers had lied or covered something up, a Police Department spokesman, Capt. J. Eric Kowalczyk, said, “It would be inappropriate for us to further comment.”

   but how did his voice box get crushed? How did his spine get severed, I am just trying to figure this out. I am not accusing anyone of anything, I just do not understand how these three injuries could happen from 1 door bolt. I understand the head injury, but I do not understand how the other 2 injuries happened

   REALLY. PEOPLE BELIEVE SOMEONE SEVERED THEIR OWN SPINE AND CRUSHED THEIR OWN VOICE BOX WITH HAND AND LEG RESTRAINTS.

   INSANITY PEOPLE INSANITY.. OH I THINK I CAN JUST CRUSH MY OWN VOICE BOX..

   THIS TELLS YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY LOGIC THAT AN UNKNOWN FORCE ON SOMEONE’S NECK SEVERED HIS SPINE ALONG WITH CRUSHING HIS VOICE BOX.

   THE MEDIA SEEM TO LEAVE THE VOICE BOX CRUSHING OUT BECAUSE WE KNOW LOGICALLY THE TWO GO HAND IN HAND.

   I CAN JUST SEE FREDDY SLIDING ON THE FLOOR OF THE VAN WITH HAND AND LEG RESTRAINTS.

   WAKE UP PEOPLE. STOP BEING BIASED AND LETTING YOUR BIAS OVERTAKE YOU. IF THE STORY DID NOT HAVE COLOR IN IT YOU WOULD BE OUTRAGED..

   YOU SHOW NO HUMANITY OR EMPATHY AT ALL BECAUSE OF BIASNESS.

   THE COPS SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW..THEY SHOULD BE…BUT WHEN A CITIZEN HAS THE GALL TO SPEAK BACK TO AN OFFICER THE ARREST AND DETAINMENT ESCALATES.

   NOT RIGHT..
