Ex-FBI chief James Kallstrom claims Hillary Clinton and Bill are a crime family

James Kallstrom hit out at the Democratic candidate and her husband during an interviewfor US radio, in which he compared the Clinton family to notorious criminal mob the Gambinos.

The ex-FBI official, best known for leading the investigation into the explosion of TWA flight 800 in the late 1990s, said: “The Clintons, that’s a crime family, basically.

“It’s like organised crime. I mean the Clinton Foundation is a cesspool.”

The former director, who is a Trump supporter, also criticised the handling of the FBI investigation into the presidential candidate’s emails, claiming it was impeded by Attorney General Loretta Lynch – a Clinton ally.

James Kallstrom hit out at Hillary Clinton in a scathing radio interview

He said: “The problem here is this investigation was never a real investigation.”

In comments that appear to support Trump’s claim’s that the investigation was “rigged”, Mr Kallstrom said: “That’s the problem. They never had a grand jury empanelled, and the reason they never had a grand jury empanelled, I’m sure, is Loretta Lunch would not go along with that.”

He added: “God forbid we put someone like that in the White House.”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has been dealt a strong blow by the FBI investigationMr Kallstrom also claimed FBI Director James Comey was complicit in holding back the investigation and alleged his decision to reopen the case has proven controversial within the FBI.
He said: “The agents are furious with what’s going on, I know that for a fact.”

Mrs Clinton lost her twelve-point poll lead over rival Mr Trump on Friday, when Mr Comey revealed the FBI had obtained a warrant to investigate 650,000 emails on a laptopbelonging to top Clinton aide, Huma Abedin.

In regards to the scandal, Mr Trump said at a rally in Michigan: “Why is she allowed to run? Hillary Clinton is unfit and unqualified to be the president of the United States, and she’s likely to be under investigation for criminality for a very, very long time to come.”
