Orly, how do you intend to overcome the major obstacle in your case – to wit, the fact that the Supreme Court does NOT have the power to remove a sitting president? Only Congress may do so, through the mechanism of impeachment. The result you want does not appear to be available through the avenue you are pursuing. Why don’t you spend your time and energy lobbying Congress to begin impeachment proceedings instead of wasting it with the Supremes? I fear all your efforts will come to naught. |
Extremely important. Need research to resubmit to SCOTUS | |

Grey says: “…the Supreme Court does NOT have the power to remove a sitting president…Only Congress may do so, through the mechanism of impeachment….” *****I’m certainly no authority, but my guess is that BO is only eligible to be yanked out of the Oval Office by the scruff of his neck, arrested, tried and sentenced – no impeachment required nor allowed, as he has never held the office legally. That’s why I imagine anyone can boot him out. I am concerned, however, about how a citizen’s arrest could be made, with all the Secret Service agents around him, preventing anyone from approaching. Wouldn’t they have to step down and honor an indictment, as BO is not above the law?
