Police released the name of the officer in Michael Brown shooting, also released pictures of the alleged strong-armed robbery by Michael Brown minutes before the shooting. Why didn’t they release this before? Why did they wait for rioting to go on for a whole week?

I did not want to weigh in on Michael Brown shooting until more information is available. I am concerned about unreasonable force used by the police. Clearly there is no reason or justification for looting and burning the stores, for stealing other people’s property, which occurred after the shooting, however there has to be an expedient investigation into the actions of the police officer, which angered the community.
Witnesses alleged that Brown raised his hands and was shot after he raised his hands. If this is true, then there was an excessive force and the officer should be prosecuted.
Also, I am questioning, why did the police keep the evidence of an alleged robbery hidden from the public? Maybe, if they were to release this evidence right away, if people were to know that Michael Brown was shot after a pursuit of a strong-armed robbery, allegedly committed by him, people would be more understanding and would not be rioting, as they did for a whole week.
Let’s hope that the forensics report is released soon and we have all the answers.

If Brown was stealing…then, he was at risk to be stopped!
And Al Sharpton knows this! But did he do anything to stop the whole city from going out to challenge the police?
And no officer is going to shoot someone just for the fun of it, without a cause!

Agreed… every time there is a run-in between cops and criminals, the minority community rises up in retaliation, using it as an excuse for theft and destruction of property. Looting is the name of the game.
Agreed… the police should have IMMEDIATELY stated to the media that this criminal was involved in a robbery, tried to take the cop’s gun away from him, and acted in a hostile and threatening manner.
Now, this would not have deterred this minority community from carrying out their looting, destruction, vandalism, fires, molotov cocktails, etc.
They get great pleasure out of being able to vent their hatred of the Caucasian community.
It is something genetic, and only restrained if there is a higher education, or there is a moral fabric instilled into the would-be- rioter.
We don’t see a whole lot of either trait.
Thousands and thousands of these people live for the time to enact their venom.
It has nothing to do with the death of a black boy. It has everything to do with the need to destroy or steal that which isn’t theirs to possess or to ruin.
It is the law of the jungle.
Sorry, but years of this type of venting indicates that they wait for a reason and then they go for it.
I remember last summer, riots in Oakland, Calif. I was visiting there in San Jose, and it was all over the news…looting, cars destroyed, businesses burned down.
This is the way they react when there is no morality at home. This is the way they react when they drop out of school or fail in their studies. This is the way they react when they are forced to live on charity.
This is the way they react when there is no value system to draw upon.
It will always be this way while we are on this Earth. They will never change.
