    Most of us hate calling governmental offices because of feeling like a pinch hitter, cold off the bench, and more so, disconnected academically with the matter at hand. Yet, your opinion is vital. You don’t throw out relatives at holiday gatherings because they work in different professions and are clueless to work in your profession.

    When contacting these offices – and your opinion and strategy may differ – simply state what you want, say bye and hang up. You can be firm without being nasty or appearing narrow-minded. You can be courteous just the same. If and when time allows, if everyone would draft a sentence or two, call it in to the applicable office(s), state the point and hang up they would get it. Trouble is, in wanting to be Shakespeare many end up doing nothing, raising their blood pressure, procrastinating, fretting.

    Get used to doing this ‘something different’ if these matters concern you and likely they do or you wouldn’t be on this site unless you’re an obot troll. Afterward, go back to your work to avoid the analytical and provide nourishment to your day.

    Keep it simple, start with offices in your state. Budget your time and resources to do what is within your reality. Grow yourself – and you will – by doing what your heart is telling you to do.
