If you want to know about the real McCain, listen to people who knew him, the Vietnam Vets and POWs, not the 24/7 mockingbird media. President Trump is right about him.

McCain once said he wished he hadn’t picked Palin as his running mate. I voted for them because of her, and hoped McCain would kick the bucket and she would become POTUS. Palin out-campaigned McCain, was more popular than him and he was very jealous. That’s why he let his campaign managers, Steve Schmitt and Nicolle Wallace, batter her. McCain never wanted to be POTUS, was pushed into running by his colleagues in congress because it was “his turn”. When he chose Palin for his VP, he thought he was picking a backwoods hayseed who would keep her mouth shut and do what she was told, which was to just go through the motions of running. Turns out that Palin was extremely politically savvy, seriously worked to win, and set his campaign on fire, causing many people who wouldn’t vote for him, to vote for him because of her. And he had to know it. It’s a real shame that Palin’s national political debut was wasted on McCain. He sure didn’t deserve her, and she certainly didn’t deserve the treatment she got.
