I hear Mark Levine going over each and every date where the obots in congress have tried to suppress 501c..

Last time I tried to email him, they recognized my email address and indicated it was invalid. And that was the second time I tried to email. Not the third or the fourth.

I really don’t want to listen to him or any other talk show host talking about Barry Soetorah needs to be impeached, is a dictator until they talk about the 8 court cases.

REALLY. He is talking about 10 minutes to discuss each of the dates how these crazy nuts have been attacking 501c from the United Case ruling..

WHEN CAN WE GET THEM TO TALK ABOUT THE 8 COURT CASES???

There are days I just dont even turn it to the dial..I’m waiting..

Bo Pe, you aren’t alone. There are many of us who no longer take TV or Radio serious anymore because of the exact reason you stated. It really is sickening. BTW, anyone have any idea what Zullo supposedly has found that he describes as “Universe shattering?”

All you have to do to get that tax-exempt status is to fill out a form and send it in to the IRS. The reason the “Tea Party” people didn’t want to send in the form is because they knew weren’t really eligible for the tax-exempt status or were too lazy.

Quit pretending that Conservatives are always helpless victims.

    Dear Orly:

I am quite concerned about the Arpaio/Zullo investigation.

It seems like they just keep making empty promises and that they’re just trying to make money.

Supposedly they were going to release “universe-shattering” information in March, but now Mike Volin says it will be in April. Every time they schedule something, they beg for money and never put out any documents or proof. And then they postpone it.

They’ve been promising “universe-shattering” information since October, 2013.

Do you think they will actually ever offer the “universe-shattering” information? It would be nice if they would make good on at least one of their promises.

    Thanks.

“POSTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 2014 BY SCOTT JOHNSON IN IRS, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SCANDALS
THE IRS SCANDALS: AT THE KING’S BEHEST
Brad Smith and his colleagues at the Center for Competitive Politics have compiled an invaluable, heavily footnoted document setting forth the efforts by the regulatory agencies to police political speech at the behest Barack Obama and the Democratic Party: “The IRS harassment scandal: A timeline of ‘reform.’” In a Wall Street Journal column that cuts to the chase — you won’t read anything more important this week — Smith takes us through “the dots the media refuse to connect” from the timeline:

    • Jan. 27, 2010: President Obama criticizes Citizens United in his State of the Union address and asks Congress to “correct” the decision.

    • Feb. 11, 2010: Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) says he will introduce legislation known as the Disclose Act to place new restrictions on some political activity by corporations and force more public disclosure of contributions to 501(c)(4) organizations. Mr. Schumer says the bill is intended to “embarrass companies” out of exercising the rights recognized in Citizens United. “The deterrent effect should not be underestimated,” he said.

    • Soon after, in March 2010, Mr. Obama publicly criticizes conservative 501(c)(4) organizations engaging in politics. In his Aug. 21 radio address, he warns Americans about “shadowy groups with harmless sounding names” and a “corporate takeover of our democracy.”

    • Sept. 28, 2010: Mr. Obama publicly accuses conservative 501(c)(4) organizations of “posing as not-for-profit, social welfare and trade groups.” Max Baucus, then chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, asks the IRS to investigate 501(c)(4)s, specifically citing Americans for Job Security, an advocacy group that says its role is to “put forth a pro-growth, pro-jobs message to the American people.”

    • Oct. 11, 2010: Sen. Dick Durbin (D., Ill.) asks the IRS to investigate the conservative 501(c)(4) Crossroads GPS and “other organizations.”

    • April 2011: White House officials confirm that Mr. Obama is considering an executive order that would require all government contractors to disclose their donations to politically active organizations as part of their bids for government work. The proposal is later dropped amid opposition across the political spectrum.

    • Feb. 16, 2012: Seven Democratic senators— Michael Bennet (Colo.), Al Franken (Minn.), Jeff Merkley (Ore.), Mr. Schumer, Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.), Tom Udall (N.M.) and Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.)—write to the IRS asking for an investigation of conservative 501(c)(4) organizations.

    • March 12, 2012: The same seven Democrats write another letter asking for further investigation of conservative 501(c)(4)s, claiming abuse of their tax status.

    • July 27, 2012: Sen. Carl Levin (D., Mich.) writes one of several letters to then-IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman seeking a probe of nine conservative groups, plus two liberal and one centrist organization. In 2013 testimony to the HouseOversight and Government Reform Committee, former IRS Acting Commissioner Steven Miller describes Sen. Levin as complaining “bitterly” to the IRS and demanding investigations.

    • Aug. 31, 2012: In another letter to the IRS, Sen. Levin calls its failure to investigate and prosecute targeted organizations “unacceptable.”

    • Dec. 14, 2012: The liberal media outlet ProPublica receives Crossroads GPS’s 2010 application for tax-exempt status from the IRS. Because the group’s tax-exempt status had not been recognized, the application was confidential. ProPublica publishes the full application. It later reports that it received nine confidential pending applications from IRS agents, six of which it published. None of the applications was from a left-leaning organization.

    • April 9, 2013: Sen. Whitehouse convenes the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism to examine nonprofits. He alleges that nonprofits are violating federal law by making false statements about their political activities and donors and using shell companies to donate to super PACs to hide donors’ identities. He berates Patricia Haynes, then-deputy chief of Criminal Investigation at the IRS, for not prosecuting conservative nonprofits.

    • May 10, 2013: Sen. Levin announces that the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations will hold hearings on “the IRS’s failure to enforce the law requiring that tax-exempt 501(c)(4)s be engaged exclusively in social welfare activities, not partisan politics.” Three days later he postpones the hearings when Lois Lerner (then-director of the IRS Exempt Organizations Division) reveals that the IRS had been targeting and delaying the applications of conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.

    • Nov. 29, 2013: The IRS proposes new rules redefining “political activity” to include activities such as voter-registration drives and the production of nonpartisan legislative scorecards to restrict what the agency deems as excessive spending on campaigns by tax-exempt 501(c)(4) groups. Even many liberal nonprofits argue that the rule goes too far in limiting their political activity—but the main target appears to be the conservative 501(c)(4)s that have so irritated Democrats.

    • Feb. 13, 2014: The Hill newspaper reports that “Senate Democrats facing tough elections this year want the Internal Revenue Service to play a more aggressive role in regulating outside groups expected to spend millions of dollars on their races.”

    This is the fitting conclusion:

In 1170, King Henry II is said to have cried out, on hearing of the latest actions of the Archbishop of Canterbury, “Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?” Four knights then murdered the archbishop. Many in the U.S. media still willfully refuse to see anything connecting the murder of the archbishop to any actions or abuse of power by the king.

Leaving the analogy incomplete, Smith gives too much credit to the media adjunct of the Democratic Party. It needs to be said that Smith is drawing an analogy and in his analogy Barack Obama is the king. He is culpable for the multifarious criminal misbehavior of the IRS. Though Smith stays on the surface to point out events in plain view, there is a mountain of evidence hiding in the White House and elsewhere as well.”

The President and his brother are Enemy Combatants (Terrorists). The recent letter sent by the doctor in Egypt to House Speaker John Boehner proves it,

The reason the 501c was postponed was to keep them from raising tax free money to campaign against Obama’s tax free money campaign….try taking about third of his money away during his campaign…(that is basically what happened because they had to pay taxes on their contributions)

    And the Daily Caller,

Lerner also appears to have broken with the norms of tax-exemption approval by granting retroactive tax-exempt status to Malik Obama’s organization.

The National Legal and Policy Center filed an official complaint with the IRS in May 2011 asking why the foundation was being allowed to solicit tax-deductible contributions when it had not even applied for an IRS determination. In a New York Post article dated May 8, 2011, an officer of the foundation admitted, “We haven’t been able to find someone with the expertise” to apply for tax-exempt status.

Nevertheless, a month later, the Barack H. Obama Foundation had flown through the grueling application process. Lerner granted the organization a 501(c) determination and even gave it a retroactive tax exemption dating back to December 2008.

The group’s available paperwork suggests an extremely hurried application and approval process. For example, the group’s 990 filings for 2008 and 2009 were submitted to the IRS on May 30, 2011, and its 2010 filing was submitted on May 23, 2011.

Lerner signed the group’s approval on June 26, 2011.

It is illegal to operate for longer than 27 months without an IRS determination and solicit tax-deductible contributions.

The ostensibly Arlington, Va.-based charity was not even registered in Virginia despite the foundation’s website including a donation button that claimed tax-exempt status.

Its president and founder, Abon’go “Roy’ Malik Obama, is Barack Obama’s half-brother and was the best man at his wedding, but he has a checkered past. In addition to running his charity, Malik Obama ran unsuccessfully to be the governor of Siaya County in Kenya. He was accused of being a wife beater and seducing the newest of his twelve wives while she was a 17-year-old school girl.

Attention: Call all of your congressmen and tell them to get a Federal Judge to sit in on the March 5th Hearing. Con.Darryl Issa and Con. Trey Gowdy if you are reading this please find a Federal Judge to sit in on this hearing, it may make Ms. Lerner to tell the truth on the President and his brother. And if she doesn’t cooperate have the judge order her!
Just by having a Judge in the same room and announce it when the hearing starts, should compel her to testify.

Here is the Democrat view of the IRS investigation:

Here is Al Sharpton’s take on the IRS investigation, and what did we expect from him, claiming it as ‘Phony’.
Nice try Al. But you are about as phony as Obama is!

Sharpton: $14 Million Wasted Investigating ‘Phony’ IRS Scandal

    https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/melanie-hunter/sharpton-14-million-wasted-investigating-phony-irs-scandal
Hey Al, why don’t you pay your back taxes that you evaded to pay, then that would reduce some of the cost to do the investigation,
On May 9, 2008 the Associated Press reported that Sharpton and his businesses owed almost $1.5 million in unpaid taxes and penalties. Sharpton owed $931,000 in federal income tax and $366,000 to New York, and his for-profit company, Rev. Al Communications, owed another $176,000 to the state.

On June 19, 2008 the New York Post reported that the Internal Revenue Service had sent subpoenas to several corporations that had donated to Sharpton’s National Action Network. In 2007 New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo began investigating the National Action Network, because it failed to make proper financial reports, as required for non-profits. According to the Post, several major corporations, including Anheuser-Busch and Colgate-Palmolive, have donated thousands of dollars to the National Action Network. The Post asserted that the donations were made to prevent boycotts or rallies by the National Action Network.

Sharpton countered the investigative actions with a charge that they reflected a political agenda by United States agencies.

On September 29, 2010 Robert Snell of The Detroit News reported that the Internal Revenue Service had filed a notice of federal tax lien against Sharpton in New York City in the amount of over $538,000. Sharpton’s lawyer asserts that the notice of federal tax lien relates to Sharpton’s year 2009 federal income tax return, the due date of which has been extended to October 15, 2010, according to the lawyer. However, the Snell report states that the lien relates to taxes assessed during 2009.

And the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Ranking Chair Elijah Cummings crying about how much it has cost us to investigate.

Republican IRS Investigations Have Cost At Least $14 Million – And Counting
    February 26, 2014

Washington, DC (Feb. 26, 2014)—Today, Reps. Sander Levin and Elijah Cummings, the Ranking Members of the House Ways and Means Committee and Oversight and Government Reform Committee, released a letter from IRS Commissioner John Koskinen documenting the significant funds expended by the IRS in responding to Congressional inquiries to date, including $8 million in direct costs—such as salaries, benefits, and travel—and an additional $6 million to $8 million to add capacity to information technology systems to process materials to investigators.

The IRS letter, which was sent in response to a request from Levin and Cummings on February 7, 2014, stated that 255 IRS employees have spent 97,542 hours responding to congressional investigations to date. It also said the IRS cost estimate is based on a “conservative approach” and does not take into account “ancillary support costs,” such as indirect work by the offices of Legislative Affairs, Public Affairs, Human Capital, and the Executive Secretariat.

Through the course of the nine-month investigations, the IRS has produced more than 500,000 pages of documents and made available 35 former and current IRS employees for interviews. Treasury and IRS officials have testified on the topic at 15 congressional hearings. And yet, there is zero evidence of any political motivation or outside involvement.

Levin and Cummings released the following statement after receiving the IRS cost estimate:

“After one of the most far-reaching investigations in recent history—spanning multiple House and Senate Committees that obtained hundreds of thousands of documents and interviewed dozens of officials—there is absolutely zero evidence of political motivation or White House involvement. Despite this fact, Republicans remain fixated on falsely accusing the White House of targeting its political enemies, wasting millions of dollars in an attempt to reignite their partisan inquiry before the November elections.”

Despite no evidence of political motivation, House Republicans are continuing to obsess over this issue, holding two hearings just this week in the Oversight Committee and one in the Appropriations Committee, and devoting time on the floor today to a measure that would delay proposed regulations concerning 501(c)(4) organizations.

I’am going out to drink with Bob.
