Muslims burn bibles in Gaza, Obama and co do not express any outrage. Tell me why? What do you think is the most logical explanation for this dichotomy in his reasoning and moral values?

    The Bible burnings were done by Hamas in Gaza. This is the same Hamas organization that the Imam trying to raise money for the Mosque at Ground Zero refuses to denounce as a terrorist organization.

      • Jason Shepherd sorry, that first search also gave me results for Monty Python’s Terry Jones. I have narrowed the search and it cut it to 13,400 hits.

        I think you’re comparing apples to oranges.

        1) Searching for Terry Jones (the non-Python one 🙂 will get you all sorts of articles about him. How do you know if the article is a report of what he’s doing or a report expressing outrage?

        2) …The incidents took place in two different countries. It’s well established that things that happen outside of the Western world are poorly reported in the news media (I have friends who have done lots of very interesting research on this if you’re interested). Plus, Terry Jones is a media whore who’s doing this to get attention. So he’s going to do what he can to whip up as much media attention as he can

        3) Doing a search for Manuel Musallem gets me over 1,500 hits, not 40. Note that I didn’t do much filtering, so there’s certainly cruft in there, but I think there are well more than 40 mentions of the incident.

        I hate to look like I’m defending extremists, because I’m certainly not. As far as I’m concerned, if the kook in Florida wants to burn Korans and some nuts in Gaza want to burn Bibles – more power to each of them. I’m just saying that to say that there’s no outrage over Bibles being burned in Gaza isn’t accurate. Heck, I’ve seen Christian organizations drum up outrage over purported Muslim/Christian riots in Nigeria that never even happened…. there’s plenty of outrage from the Christian community over these things.See More

The KORAN HASN’T EVEN BEEN BURNED YET AND THIS IS GOING ON!!!! VIOLENCE FROM THIS ORIGIN IS GOING TO HAPPEN WHETHER THE KORAN IS BURNED OR NOT! This pastor who’s burning the koran is just speeding up the inevitable. Quit debating and pick a side, the line’s been drawn. This burning is gonna bring things to a MAJOR head.

    So apparently if an American citizen merely talks about burning the Muslim ‘holy’ book it supposedly justifies the CONTINUANCE (already happening) Islamic acts of terrorism AND the biased liberal media gives it major attention…

    But when Muslims actually do burn Christian Bibles (and urinate on Bibles) the same media just doesn’t find it newsworthy?

    Obama isn’t fooling any of the U.S. citizens who don’t have a silly schoolgirl crush on him.

    At a nearby university the Muslim students are wearing T-shirts showing Obama’s face and a saying about ‘our time has come’. They are laughing at you fools who still don’t get it that they are taking over our country – with obama’s help.

    Some of you stupid leftists won’t get it until they force you to start wearing their garb.

    Oh and btw under the sharia law they plan to impose they will kill most of you liberals too –
