Update 3:09 p.m.: Kitzhaber has now announced that he will indeed resign.

Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown (D) will become the first openly bisexual governor in U.S. history when Gov. John Kitzhaber (D) resigns Wednesday.

An open LGBT governor has never been elected, although New Jersey did have an openly gay governor briefly in 2004, after Gov. Jim McGreevey (D) came out as gay and admitted an affair with a man he had appointed to a key job. He resigned three months later.

Brown is married to husband Dan Little; she has publicly discussed her bisexuality in past campaigns. She is already arguably the highest-ranking bisexual elected official in America; Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) became the first bisexual member of Congress in 2013.

Oh Yippee. That proves you can no longer discriminate against gays and lesbians and now you can legally discriminate against Catholics, Christians, and most faiths that helped write the founding document. How do you spell insanity?. Has anyone looked out the window lately. Are we having a real good time since this all started taking place?

This sort of insanity happens because there are

all Democrats in high office in Oregon. The

state Govt is all Democrat. No proper GOP op-

position. Just a Demo oligarchy. Hence, all

you get is a big confused mess. And now you

can see the results of the mess. It will get

worse, for sure. More chaos & scandal to come.

Only the joint effort by GOP, Libertarians,

and Independents can change this sort of sit-

uation. No hope for the Oregon dopes, IMO.

Tell em bluntly and firmly, Danno!!!

This being is betraying her spouse and the marriage contract that affects society as marriage is our building block. She cannot be trusted to hold public office. How many young underage girls has she pursued as a pedophile? She is no different than all these teachers preying on their students

well, there is no evidence of her sleeping with underage girls or being a pedophile, but she did state that she is a bisexual. I don’t know if she still has relations with women now, as she is married, or whether she had them before she got married. I did not see anything in print on that

If her biography is ever turned into film, Julie Andrews, who did VICTOR/VICTORIA so well, could play that role!
