It was certainly over zealous for trying to enforce a $6 dollar a pack cigarette tax.
If the colonists thought taxation without reprerntation was tyranny. What ddo they call taxation with representation, robbery?

Why didn’t this sergeant do something? Why has this not been mentioned in the media?

People even think murder is ok now. Everything is so upside down. Started with Clinton lying under oath “it was just about sex” Unfortunately it was about MUCH more than sex. It was about the rule of law of which now there is none. There is absolutely NO excuse for not giving this man CPR! It was criminal.

to poster 2 TOM MADISON this has been mentioned in the media.

    JULY 31, 2014,
The report also reveals the supervising officer who responded to the scene in plainclothes, believed to be Sergeant Dhanan Saminath, arrived on the scene once Garner was down.

The sergeant said he “did not observe the perpetrator (Garner) make any statements” and “did not appear to be in great distress.”

Another female sergeant, Kizzy Adoni, made a similar statement in the report. She “believed she heard” Garner say he was having difficulty breathing. Adoni also said “The perpetrator’s condition did not seem serious and he did not appear to get worse.”

But several videos documenting the incident show Garner clearly stating he cannot breathe at least eight times. At one point he is unresponsive.

Sgt. Saminath mentions he called EMS because Garner was having difficulty breathing, which conflicts with his earlier statement that Garner did not appear to be in great distress.

People are now questioning how the police report can turn out to be so different from what videos show.

“You have a report that is stating that the sergeants were at the scene and the actions that they took was totally different from what the video states,” former NYPD detective and President of the Law Enforcement Alliance, Dennis Jones says.

Jones calls the report disturbing and hopes the conflicting statements are not part of a cover-up.

4 EMS workers barred from duty after chokehold death

Four emergency-service workers who found a man unconscious on the sidewalk after a cop put him in a chokehold — and apparently did nothing to aid him — have been barred from going on any more ambulance calls pending a probe, officials said Sunday.
A seven-minute video captured the last few minutes of diabetic dad Eric Garner’s life — and the apparent procedural lapses by two medics and two EMTs, sources told The Post.
“It was pretty obvious this patient was in distress,” a source said. “His body was limp and lifeless.”
Yet none of the workers — nor the eight cops on hand — can be seen in the video administering any aid to Garner. One medic at Garner’s side doesn’t even have any of the required equipment on her, such as an oxygen bag or a defibrillator, the source said.
