Creeping Sharia law comes to the gridiron

Sharia law has now become entrenched in high school football in Dearborn, Michigan as it advances its occasionally noiseless creep over the landscape.
A Michigan high school team, believe it or not, is holding its football practices in the middle of the night to keep its players from committing offenses during Ramadan. The team practices from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
ESPN notes that the team is “predominantly Muslim,” which means of course that every non-Muslim on this squad is forced to yield to Sharia law whether he wants to or not. He is forced to accommodate his sleeping schedule to the dictates of Islam whether he believes in the Koran or not. Their lives are being governed by Sharia law, right here in the United States of America.
So much for religious liberty in Dearborn, Michigan, and so much for the separation of mosque and school and mosque and state. Such a separation does not exist in Islamic thought, and because the ACLU and others on the left hate America as much as Islam does, you will hear no peeps of protest from those who normally are hyper-vigilant about transgressions of their view of the First Amendment.
This illustrates another truth about Islam. It is not a religion so much as an entire, totalitarian ideology that is determined to control every aspect of life, right down to when you can practice football.
Let’s be clear here. Dearborn, Michigan has now become a Muslim enclave, a Sharia enclave encircled by sovereign U.S. soil. It will soon be impossible, if it’s not already, to recognize this community as a part of the United States of America.

How many are not muslim on this team? I would like to know. Those who are not muslim should quit the team and put an end to it.

Now I’ve heard everything! A freaking Muslim Football team! What next? Muslim Wrestling, or maybe Muslim Baseball? I can just hear their song…”Take Me Out to The Jihad.” It’s time for the people in this country to stop kissing these Camel Jockeys stinking Asses! Go home, dirt Bags!

They should also contact the school district for allowing such discrimination based on religion.
Football is not a democracy, maybe they should find a new coach.

If there is a majority Muslim players and none of the other parents or players complain, whose business is it of yours? Wouldn’t holding practice during the day because of non Muslims be a violation of their rights? They aren’t asking you to participate. This is the business of the team only. The only people I hear screaming don’t have a dog in this fight.

I dare you to print the real story:
Holy month, hot days mean football nights in Mich.
By JEFF KAROUB (AP) – Aug 16, 2010
DEARBORN, Mich. — A Michigan high school football team is holding preseason practices in the middle of the night to help its Muslim players practice both faith and football.
The predominantly Muslim squad from Dearborn says the nocturnal regimen is a way for players to eat and drink while observing the holy month of daytime fasting known as Ramadan. The August heat also played a factor in Fordson High coach Fouad Zaban’s (foo-AHD’ zuh-BAN’) proposal to reverse the clock for a week of two-a-day practices.
Cutting practice wasn’t an option at football-crazy Fordson, which is coming off a one-loss season. But nobody wanted to lessen the significance of Ramadan in the Detroit suburb widely known as the capital of Arab-America.
