I was very proud of my sons who are trying very hard to bring awareness of 22 vets who commit suicide every day. (that is over 8,000 per year, more than died in 9/11 and Iraq and Afghanistan wars) . Our corrupt elite and government stole the jobs and the future of these veterans

Hey Orly:
I am very proud of your sons too for raising awareness of returning vet suicides. From what I can tell, these very proud and mission oriented men return to their families after service, can’t find work and start feeling kind of helpless. They have skills that don’t match employer’s requirements and can’t find work, can’t even find jobs doing lawn service, those are mostly taken by illegal aliens. It puts a man in a desperate state of mind when he can’t feed his family after a year or so. These returning vets are very qualified for many jobs and need to be considered for employment. An average of 22 a day taking their own lives should have alarm bells going off in every government office.

The Difference between the Draft & the All
Volunteer Service is the number of times
being sent into the Combat Zone, since
you are a volunteer & you can see 3 or 4
Tours in the Zone. One can not expect a
person with 3 to 4 tours in combat to come
back to America with a Childhood Mind
Set that “Everything is Beautiful” as if Nothing has Changed.

so, what is the answer?
May 25th, 2014 @ 10:35 am
In the Past, everyone knew someone in the military and now this is changed. Being there
at the transition point of an all volunteer
service & realizing the Military would call up
the States “National Guards Units” because of
the short fall or downsizing of the military,
well I was in the Michigan National Guard in
the ’70’s. Realizing there is not a big pool
of Combat Soldiers for a tour, there would be
several short combat tours (ex. 6 months then
a rest time). Today’s combat is more Mid-Intensity with more Tech Equip, GPS, Etc…
So the Answer, America should be like other
countries where everyone does military service,
since you can’t cure PTSD for the FEW who are
willing to go into Harm’s Way. It is very sad,
that America always has to be Attacked before it Wakes Up.

How can I relate PTSD to you? If you got in your car every time & you got on the road expecting a car accident like you had, and this
accident happened un-knowingly many times with in a 6 month tour…This would be a Strong Mental Awareness very much with you trying to avoid an outcome that may or may not Happen,
but you are in this Mind Set, you’ve Lost Trust in your surroundings because of your experiences.
