I was able to fix my desktop computer, thank you to people who helped. I have one remaining tech issue

I uninstalled Google Chrome in all my computers due to recent reports that Chrome can switch on the microphones on your computer and listen to your conversations. I am using Firefox. Today I got a message from Firefox statingĀ “something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an insecure update. Contact your network provider and seek help”. What do I do?

Orly,
I think maybe you might be worrying too much. I don’t blame you do to the fact that you are leading the charge against the the Obama regime. I use chrome as well. I just ignore a lot of threats I hear. What else can you do. I think they may just be trying to get under your skin. I must admit though I got my camera lens taped over when I’m not using it. Hah. I keep my clothes on too just in case.

I don’t think you’re imagining anything. Your site is the only one that I have consistent problems with on my laptop, my IPad, and my smartphone. When on your site, the screen will often blink off and on, and or move around from article to article on it’s own, making things very difficult to read.My computers will also often completely kick off of your site, or once in a while, even reset on there own.

Also, most of my comments don’t make it past moderation, and completely disappear.

You are right about Chrome able to listen to conversations. I was on the phone talking about soup yesterday now I’m getting ads for deals on Progresso Soups.

Lonnie, I do not delete any of your comments, I am afraid that the regime is doing its’ own “moderation”

Dr Taitz please use Linux, they’ll not be able to hack it.

Most error messages and warnings you can type into google and see what other people recommend.
Otherwise, take a screenshot and send it to a tech person you trust. You should probably have someone do a quick security review of your Word Press site to make sure it is up to date and secure. Unless you’re getting a decent amount of money for the ads, I’d switch ad providers or turn them off–they can be a source of shady shenanigans. Feel free to message me if you have Q’s.

Orly,
Go download malwarebytes and run it on your computer to ensure its clean. malwarebytes will find most anything hidden in the background. Hope this helps.

My point exactly. The comment that I posted right before the one above disappeared. It explained the trouble that I have while on your site, with 3 different computers that aren’t linked together.
Frequent resets, blinking screens, freezes, and posts sometimes jumping from one to another while I’m trying to read, are some of the symptoms.

Agree. Know the same. Do NOT INSTALL new
programs from Firefox. Do NOT UPDATE any pro-
grams from Firefox. Do NOT ACCEPT. False
offers are being made now. Danger & Danger!!!
Also, Install AVG70.com virus killer programs. May help, IMO.

Noticed also some cloud and fog now on screens,
then disappears. Hackers are attacking this
site. Sorry. Stalls out, too. Bad news, IMO.

I am not sure you can completely remove Google anything without professional help…And a conflict may remain where google wants to fight any other browser…It seems I have found the same thing occurs with Antivirus programs. they do not want to go and will fight you
also i have recommended you use malwarebytes previously on a couple occassions as did poster #10 in this section..I know I am not qualified but have had my rounds with pc problems and have been trouble free since malwarebytes..i have had awesome support from them also..not to sound mean but anyone not using a good maleware program and AV should not complain…I would bet it is almost impossible to not be infected with malware these days if not protected..
I just think that prior to looking for the unknown you need to know your own stuff is clean..without it i think you will always be fighting a losing battle..

Sorry I do not know what Linux is so I could be out of line on my first post..
…
but regarding disappearing and not posting comments.
if it helps lead to a solution…try this.
in the LEAVE A REPLY section in email address if my email is normal xxxxx@gmail.com some things disappear and can rarely post…if there is an extra character in xxxxx@gmaill.com things return..I can alternate between the two and disappear-reappear alternates with them…..if I never change back to normal i never have an issue.

are you saying that the tampering occurs to comments with actual e-mail addresses, but no tamparing with bogus e-mail addresses?

My friend (who runs a computer help yahoo group) thinks you’re update notice might have been a fake and then he sent this to me today:
“Kim Komando posted a screen shot of a fake update today. As always, the answer is, do not click any spontaneous update that you are unsure of. Further, you can always ignore it, even if you believe it is legitimate, by going to the browser web site. Or, by going to Help/Update, to get legitimate updates.”
