House Roll Call: Trade Authority

WASHINGTON (AP) — The 219-211 roll call Friday by which the House voted to give the president fast-track trade authority. The House rejection of the worker training program stalled the fast-track trade authority measure in the House.

    The vote today, according to the office of one of the Congressman’s I phoned, was to allow everyone time to read this monstrosity of a bill, so that O can’t con us into voting on it without reading the whole thing.

    Also, the office said that it would give the Congress up to (2) months to read the whole thing, so that they will know how to vote on it.

    And I’ll bet that Boehner was responsible for wanting another vote, right? Don’t allow another vote, House…or vote it so O has to allow you guys to read this, first!

    As they say, politics makes strange bedfellows. It was the far left Democrats who sank this thing. I’m glad they did, but I don’t know how I feel about being allied with them.
