Gov. Mary Fallin slams Supreme Court gay marriage decision
UPI20 hours ago
- “The will of the people has now been overridden by unelected federal justices, accountable to no one,” Fallin said in a statement. “That is both undemocratic and a violation of states’ rights. Rather than allowing states to make their own policies that reflect the values and views of their residents, federal judges have inserted themselves into a state issue to pursue their own agendas.”

Since it only takes 4 justices to get a case heard by the Supreme Court, and since the justices are aware of the consequences and there has been no comment at all from SCOTUS on this, we can assume that Scalia, Roberts, Thomas and Alito are perfectly content to see same-sex marriage become the law of the land. This is a pretty clear example of judicial restraint.

my guess, this is Roberts. He is the one that joined liberal justices

i think it is time to limit the time the “judges” can be onthe court. I also believe our law and order is no more and that is because of O. and Holder. I agree with Orley that it is Roberts.

True. Roberts is despicable, IMO.
George Bush should be very ashamed that he
ever appointed such a lowlife and liar.
R. calls ACA (Obamacare) a mandated tax;
and calls sodomy & bestiality the new
same-sex marriage. Roberts is insane.
Total deception and perversion of Western
reality and mores.
Such a despicable man. IMO.
Tell em soon, Danno!!!

The photos of Roberts with briefcase in front of the Bank of the Vatican on Malta should be enough about a dubious character if not an out and out crook. His family affairs were ripe for political manipulation. The Bush family has not always acted for the best interests of the USA and I weigh in that military service is no assurance of a USA First conscience.

Ebola and other diseases coming to our country as well as our borders being flooded with who knows what kind of human filth, and this is what everyone is so concerned about? Pardon me, but, has anyone every studied history? Does anyone recall what happened to the Romans?

I agree with all posters above…
And I, too, think that a time frame needs to be set for these people to step down after they’ve been on the Court for far too long!
I’d like to know (why?) these judges were allowed to obtain life time appointments in the first place, from the beginning of our Nation?
That was a bad idea!
And…
I think that if they don’t do their job(s) of defending America at all times, then, they should be fired on the spot! And they should lose all of their benefits, as well!!

Makes me wonder if THEY are all GAY!
October 9th, 2014 @ 2:09 am
I don’t believe that they all are gay, but several might be closet gay and were placed on the Supreme Court for that reason

#7…There is a way. It’s call impeachment and it is the sole responsibility of the US House of Representatives to do. The trouble is…they don’t have the intestinal fortitude and the balls to do it. And, that is sad!

HB: I would go along with you…but he needs to be arrested, after being impeached and (stepping down), first!
October 9th, 2014 @ 1:46 pm
This way all his laws/executive orders will become null and void, if he is arrested, held for trial, then, found guilty, which the mountain of evidence would provide!
