Family
He is married to Marian Vallely. Their son, Private First Class Scott Paul Vallely, died on April 20, 2004 while in his fourth week of Special Forces Qualification Course Special Forces training.[1][2]
Education
He graduated from West Point and was commissioned into the U.S. Army in 1961. He graduated from Infantry School, Ranger and Airborne Schools, Jumpmaster School, the Command and General Staff School, The Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Army War College. His combat service in South Vietnam included positions as infantry company commander, intelligence officer, operations officer, military advisor and aide-de-camp. He retired in 1993, at the rank of Major General, from his position as Deputy Commanding General, Pacific.
Center for Security Policy
Vallely serves as the Military Committee Chairman for the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C. and occasionally writes columns and lectures on the War on Terror. Some of his public statements have caused controversy, such as saying “we are not going to permit” a Shiite victory in an Iraqi election, and claiming that the war on terror is a war between Islam and Judeo-Christianity: “That’s what’s going on. If you don’t understand that, then you don’t get it.”[citation needed]
Veteran Defenders of America
General Vallely has recently lent his support to an organization called “Veteran Defenders of America”. In his letter of support he stated that,”Perhaps the greatest threat to our safety and liberty is the threat of radical Islam. This threat goes well beyond the threat of terrorism. Islamists, both inside and outside of America, are looking for any and every way to infiltrate and subvert our country through what is known as “stealth jihad.” He encourages US civilians (veterans) to be “eyes and ears of freedom, because we know freedom isn’t free.” [3]

Let us sue the Republican Party for lying about Obama’s eligibility, and for not supporting their voters. They should be standing with Sherriff Joe Arpaio and the evidence not with Barack Obama! We should have the right to demand an answer to why they insist Barack Obama was born in America! They are as much a part of the cover up as the Democrats.

Back in 2011 they started this investigation of how the slink got on the ballot in the first place. Several, have been charged and some pled guilty recently, as mentioned in another post on this site.

“Governor’s Signature Forged to Get Obama on 2008 Primary Ballot
Published Wed, Oct 12 2011 3:20 PM
The South Bend Tribune reports that signatures were forged on petitions used to put Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Democratic primary ballot in Indiana.
Forensic document analyst Erich Speckin, said of the Obama petition forgery: “It’s obvious. It’s just terribly obvious.” He said that it’s clear that 10 pages (each page containing 10 signatures) in the Obama petition were filled in by the same person.
One of the forged signatures on Obama’s petition was that of former Indiana Governor Joe Kernan (D) who campaigned for Hillary Clinton. When asked whether the signature on the petition was his, Kernan said, “No, not at all. Nor does the printing look like mine.”
The Tribune reported that almost 30 people who supposedly signed the Clinton petition have confirmed that the signatures are not theirs. They appear to have been copied from a petition for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jim Schellinger.
Both the Clinton and Obama forged petition pages were approved by the voter registration office when the Republican head of the office was absent. Democratic member of the Board of Voter Registration, Pam Brunette, has a written signature which appears on the backs of the suspicious petition pages.
State Republican Party Chairman Eric Holcomb has called for the Department of Justice to launch an investigation. County Prosecutor Michael Dvorak is already beginning an investigation into the matter. In Indiana, falsifying a ballot petition is a Class D felony.”
Apparently this investigations were done and very recently we have pleas of guilt and some trials of those accused are still not over.

Under Nat. Lawyers Assoc. should have been in quotes after my introduction above. Left off quotes. Thought it would be more background info. Starting with “Governors signature… through ending of “Apparently this(sp) investigations were done….” (ending sentence.)

That begs the question: How can a man who is not able to pass a background check for a gun be in a position to fire nuclear missles and direct the Armed Services of the United States. Is this not the most preposterous thing?

Sherif Joe? Really? All talk and no action Joe? Yeah – we really need more like him.
There is only one person putting forth real effort and it sure ain’t Joe.
You are right about Republicans being as guilty as Democrats – but “standing with Joe” isn’t the answer. I can’t believe Orly allowed such a direct insult to her to be posted here

Why not stand with Colbert? He does a much better job of pretending to be outraged than Joe does
