Reid Fails to Pass Another Bailout

Harry Reid and President Obama tried to shove another bailout on the American people last night in the Senate. This was yet another bailout for bloated state and local governments, which really means a bailout for the cronies and friends of President Obama. Again… for at least the third time. Call and tweet your own Senators and the following Senators and tell them to vote NO MORE BAILOUTS, NO MORE STIMULUS!

Facts about S. 1723, the newest bailout bill
The bill would give $30 billion to “hire or rehire” education jobs and $5 billion to first responders. (Read about the vulgar way that VP Biden is trying to sell this bailout…)
This is a bailout bill to fund public-sector employees to the detriment of those that work in the private sector and have no power with politicians.
This is the THIRD bailout that education has received. First in the 2009 trillion dollar “stimulus” bill and again in August 2010 in the “EduJobs” bill.
The first stimulus bill promised unemployment would stay under 8.5%, but it surged to 10.2%. The second stimulus bill promised unemployment at 7.9%, but it surged to 9.6%. Spending money we don’t have doesn’t create jobs!!
