From 1845-
The expression ‘citizen of the United States’ occurs in the clauses prescribing qualifications for Representatives, for Senators, and for President. In the latter the term ‘natural born citizen’ is used, and excludes all persons owing allegiance by birth to foreign states; in the other cases the word ‘citizen’ is used without the adjective, and excludes persons owing allegiance to foreign states, unless naturalized under our laws.     Dear Lady Liberty:…this person Tom has posted some nonsense. First, his last word printed (citizen) leads to an email that does NOT exist!

    2ndly, his last statement is erroneous! His father didn’t have American citizenship and wasn’t born on American soil. And that is one of the requirements for him to be allowed to be Prez!

    3rdly, his father was a British subject, which means dual-loyalty! Which means that the last section starting with the word Constitution makes his clain erroneous for the above reasons!

    4thly, I don’t think that Obama ever became an American citizen??? Could this be one of the things he’s hiding in all of his records? As far as I know, he’s still an (ILLEGAL ALIEN)???? Right? Did he ever apply for American citizenship? And he spent how many years in Indonesia? And with those 39 social security numbers he’s used, this guy is a WALKIN’ FELONY FACTORY! I mean:…how is this possible that we could be living in the Twilight Zone, in real life, with this guy who is I-L-L-E-G-A-L?

    This just boggles the mind!!!
