   During a recent interview with Fox News, former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates revealed that President Barack Obama essentially paved the way for the Muslim Brotherhood to assume control in Egypt — thus suggesting that Obama wanted that to occur — by stubbornly ignoring the advice of his entire national security team.

   “Literally, the entire national security team recommended unanimously handling Mubarak differently than we did,” Gates said in regard to former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who voluntarily resigned on Feb. 11, 2011, in response to the U.S.-backed Arab Spring.

   But instead Obama chose to trust “the advice of three junior backbenchers,” one of whom urged him to “be on the right side of history.”

   He added, “And I would be sitting there at the table, and I’d say, ‘Yeah, if we could just figure that out, we’d be a long way ahead.”

   Mubarak’s eventual fall from grace in 2011 led directly to the rise of Mohamed Morsi, an illegally elected Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated extremist who persecuted Christian minorities and other non-Muslims during his tenure in office — up until 2013, when the Egyptian military ousted him from power.

   Lipsky discovered that Hamilton wrote, “In the national government, if the Senate should be divided, no appointment could be made.”

   Lipsky also stated Hamilton added the powers of the president to nominate justice appointments should be checked and balanced under the idea the president is no king and whose powers should be even lower than the governor of New York, for example. New York’s governor at the time did have the power to vote for his own judicial nominations.

   In other words, the president can only nominate, he cannot appoint. The nomination can only result in an appointment, if and only if, the president’s nomination secures the approval of the Senate.

   Therefore, the president has done his job for now, as promised, and the fate of any Supreme Court justice, including the Garland nomination, lies is in the hands of Senate Republicans.

   Why is this news? When the mess in Egypt started you didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to know it was been incited and paid by the illegal alien at the WH. Make America great again, we have too many dumb asses in this country!
