Hmmm…luggage boarded, but the passengers didn’t get on??

This suggests two things to me:
    1) Could the plane have gone under the radar for any length of time and high-jacked for some reason? And where to?
    2) Or could the plane have exploded, with a bomb in the luggage that got loaded, WITHOUT those passengers getting aboard?

Before the plane departed, they removed the luggage for the 5 passengers that didn’t board.

Malaysian investigators were also questioning five passengers who checked in for the flight — but who wound up not boarding and had their luggage removed from the plane.
