Shutdown Forces Govt to Fill in Grand Canyon With Fog

Offline
The National Park Service closed the Grand Canyon, along with services and recreation programs, after obstructionist Republicans forced congress to miss its deadline to prevent the first partial government shutdown in 17 years. There typically are about 18,000 visitors a day to the Grand Canyon in October, one of the peak months before the snowy winter off-season begins.

Due to the now current lack of manning to prevent accidental falls at the park and no plans to add railings or increase the already numerous warnings in signs and brochures that caution against peering over the edge of the mile-deep chasm, it was decided by the Obama administration to just fill in the canyon with fog as a fall protection safety measure to discourage visitors.

Park spokeswoman Maureen Hugatree stated that the orders to fill in the canyon with fog had come straight from the White House. “They told me that they had deemed the fog machine operators to be essential emergency personnel with previous experience of clouding issues to the public,” she explained.

We had to pass it to see what’s in it according to Palosi.

This was a post on a blog:

A comment on the Affordable Care Act on Facebook stated that a person had signed up online, under the $45-55,000 income range, with a pre-existing condition of type I diabetes. They chose the “Silver” plan…
Their premium came back as $597 per month, with an almost $14,000 annual deductible! And when the person clicked the “opt out” option, they shortly received an e-mail stating that their fine would be $4,037, and could be attached to their annual tax return and if you don’t have the $4,037 on time, then the repercussions for non-payment begin with your drivers license being suspended until the fine is paid, and if it goes 24 months without payment, a tax lien is placed on you property. It gives you the option to provide your bank info so your penalties can be withdrawn weekly, or biweekly, etc.

That comes out to about $350/month for not opting in, or $597 plus pretty much all your medical expenses for the year out of pocket (deductible) – unless you have some type of major surgery or catstrophic illness, which you then get to cough up $14,000 plus your monthly payments.

I don’t know of anyone who coul afford this.  The only ones that will be helped by Obama care are those who have no job. Taxpayers will be paying for them just like when people with no income go to the ER for treatment.  Hospitals footed the bill for them with the Government giving them allowances for treating low or no income people (it came out of our taxes.)  All Obama Care does is collect the money more efficiently from taxpayers to foot the bill. The bad part is the threat of loosing your right to drive if you don’t figure out a way to pay for it.
