Eric, there is a reason Ted Cruz was a debate champion. You show yourself to be no Socratis in the budget debatedebate

In the recent debate over defunding the Obamacare, Eric Cantor is contradicting Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and claiming that GOP cannot do anything about defunding the Obamacare and has to continue issuing continuing resolutions and spending like drunken sailors, transforming the whole US into an economic wasteland like Detroit. Cantor claims that there is nothing that can be done because GOP does not have the 60 votes in the Senate.
Eric, your logic is f laud. GOP does not need 60 votes in the Senate. Obama, Pelosi and Reid need a majority in the house to do anything, they do not have it and they are dependent on you.
The position of the GOP should be: we are bankrupt as a nation. We are spending nearly 2 dollars for every dollar the federal government gets in taxes. The interest on the debt is $700 billion per year, about the size of the budget for the Department of Defense.
If we continue spending more than we are getting in taxes, we will have no money for any programs, even established ones, as such, we, as a nation, cannot afford the Obamacare, we have no money to fund it. It was just an insane ego trip by Obama and the Democrats to even push for it in the first place, as they knew full well that we have no money for this program. As such, in order not to bankrupt the remaining programs, as responsible members of the Congress with the power of the purse, we are saying that we cannot fund i, we have no money for it. Period. There will be no continuing resolutions to continue looting the nation. GOP is willing to issue only a limited continuing resolution only for the necessities: paying Social Security, salaries for the members of the military, border patrol and law enforcement. there will be no continuing resolution to fund anything else, until Obama provides the Congress with the balanced budget and at this time this budget cannot include the Obama care, as it is a new program, which is not ready for implementation and which is an unfunded obligation.
The House will pass a resolution to fund only the existing necessities up to the level of the revenues, not more. GOP in the Senate will vote for the same. Let the Democrats show themselves as irresponsible and shutting the government. they will look like irresponsible kids, jerks, who shut the government on a whim

And Orly said it right: pay only the necessities!
