Orly, I’m in favor of this for a couple of reasons. First, it’s being implemented indiscriminately anyway with current rules that are outdated. There’s no real oversight and illegals are encouraged to benefit via fliers outside the country! Unlike when the policy was written, today, the workforce is full of mothers. Second, I fully trust a Trump admin to implement this in a responsible way by providing it to parents who are working and contributing to the economy/ society – no couch potatoes and no fliers distributed to foreigners incenting them to come. Also, I have no problem with it being gov’t/taxpayer supported. It can be more than paid for when Trump cuts all the waste and all the money spent supporting illegals, among other numerous wasteful cuts. Why not support our working mothers and families instead of dead beats and illegals?? I think Trump did a good thing by doing this and I’m glad Ivanka is beside him on it. It’s good for the country and so what if it’s good politically.
