Desperate Landrieu is pushing Keystone to save her Senate seat and tells Chuckie Schumer to go pound sand. Let’s hope, he is the nest to be kicked out of Senate

I wish everyone would rethink their position on this Keystone pipeline. I think we are being used by the GOP. It is not conservative to wish for foreign corporations to be allowed to claim eminent domain over USA landowners who don’t want this pipeline on their property. It’s opening the door for more foreign corporations to come into the USA and take citizens’ land. And for what? The pipeline won’t create a significant number of jobs as these corporations already have people to do these jobs in their employ, more foreigners getting work in the USA. Is 200 jobs worth the theft of property rights from 200 landowners?

I guess I need to ask: will America be able to keep some of this oil for our own usage?

Or…will we get paid to allow this pipeline to be laid across America, by getting a percentage of the take? Or…

Is this going to be sold to other nations? and who will receive the $$ from it’s production? And…

Why would we do any of this, if America isn’t going to be allowed to receive full compensation for helping our Canadian friends?
