Democrats might lose as many as 12 or 13 Senate seats in 2018

This year Republicans defended about double the seats the Democrats defended. However, in 2018 Democrats will defend 25 seats to Republican 8. The reason for the disparity is the fact that in 2010 a lot of Republicans won senate seats due to Tea Party revolution, hence large number of Republican seats that were defended in 2016. On the other hand, Democrats won a lot of seats in 2012 due to Obama re-election and in 2018 they will be up for re-election and they will be vulnerable.
Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, West Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were won by Trump this year and Democrats are likely to lose those 10 states.
Additionally, Trump came very close to winning Minnesota (just 2% margin), Maine (2%) and Virginia (5%). The race will be very tight there and Republicans are very likely to win at least two of these three seats.
In two years Trump might have as many as 64 or even 65 Republicans in the senate, he will have a super-majority. What does it mean? Well, until 2018 Trump will substantially weaken Obamacare and Dodd- Frank, however it will be hard for him to repeal those bills outright, as he needs to overcome cloture, meaning he will need to have 60 votes in the senate and Republicans have only 52. However, in 2018 he will be able to repeal those and a number of other bills outright, as he will have more than 60 seats.

I hope the people have figured out that the democrats cannot be trusted to keep the legislature working when it threatens their liberal agenda so this makes the senate numbers very important. With a democrat in the White House it only takes 34 senate votes to support a veto or to quash an impeachment. Democrats are now famous for this and cannot be trusted with more than 33 senators in office. They also use the filibuster to prevent a conservative Justice of the Supreme Court and the only way to prevent that is to have 60 conservative senators in office.

We, now, have 30 Republican Governors.
One would think that the Dems in Congress would have figured out, by now, that every vote doesn’t have to be a freakin’ rumble. Thank the Lord, Jesus, that harry reid isn’t going to be there. That pimple on the ass of progress should have been de-voiced years ago. (at the same time he was de-brained, maybe?)
