Currently GOP leads in 8 Senate races, where seats are occupied by Dems. In 2-3 more races GOP is in a statistical dead heat

If Election were to be held today, GOP would take over 8 seats from Dems. They are leading in :MT, SD, WV, AK, LA, AS, IA and CO. That gives GOP 53 Senate seats, 2 Independents and 45 Democrats

Additionally, there are 3 more very close races:

Latest poll in NC  shows Tillis and Hagan at 40% each.

In NH the latest poll shows Scott Brown only 2% behind, statistical dead heat

In MI Terri Land is only 5% behind
