Coup in Turkey appears to be a staged event, used to neuter secular military and create an Islamic tyranny

When I watched the reports of the coup n Turkey, my first question was, why didn’t the military arrest Erdogan. this should have been the first order of business. The fact that Erdogan was not arrested, is in my view a tell tell sign that the whole thing was staged
