TEXAS | Ted Cruz | +26%
Conservative Ted Cruz (R-TX) will defeat liberal Paul Sadler (D-TX) by a landslide. When we endorsed Ted Cruz last year, we knew the general election would not be competitive. The challenge was helping Cruz win the Republican primary in a large state and against the Washington establishment. Thanks to your support, we were able to rally the grassroots and invest $2 million to help Ted Cruz win the primary. Now he will be the next senator from the great State of Texas.
NEBRASKA | Deb Fischer | +16%
Despite a series of false and desperate attacks, conservative Deb Fischer (R-NE) continues to lead liberal former New York City resident Bob Kerrey (D-NE). Kerrey is trying to fool voters into thinking he was an independent problem solver, but his dirty attacks against Fischer prove he’s just like every other liberal in Washington. He’ll do whatever it takes to win. Thanks to your support, we’ve now invested over $400,000 in this critical race.
ARIZONA | Jeff Flake | +6%
Conservative Jeff Flake (R-AZ) now leads liberal Richard Carmona (D-AZ) by six points, according to a new Rasmussen poll. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) and Harry Reid’s super PAC are pouring millions into this race, falsely attacking Jeff Flake. Democrats have boldly predicted they will win the race, citing their own poll with Carmona ahead by four points. We’ve invested over $600,000 in this race, but we can’t let up. This one is going to be close.
OHIO | Josh Mandel | +1%
Conservative Josh Mandel (R-OH) now leads liberal incumbent Sherrod Brown (D-OH) by one point, according to an internal poll released earlier this week. Mandel’s numbers appear to be tracking closely with Mitt Romney’s numbers in the Buckeye State where independent voters are breaking toward the Republican candidates. Winning this race is absolutely critical to removing Harry Reid as the Senate Majority Leader. That’s why we’ve invested over $1.6 million in the race and will begin a new TV ad next week, which highlights Sherrod Brown’s liberal record.
INDIANA | Richard Mourdock | TIED
Conservative Richard Mourdock (R-IN) is now tied with liberal “Bailout Joe” Donnelly (D-IN), according to an internal poll released today. Donnelly is trying to twist a comment Mourdock made at a recent debate, but it’s not going to work. Hoosiers know that Joe Donnelly is a Washington liberal who will vote for Harry Reid as Majority Leader and block the repeal of Obamacare. We’ve invested over $2 million in this race and are running a hard-hitting TV ad that highlights Donnelly’s support for taxpayer-funded bailouts.
VIRGINIA | George Allen | -1%
Conservative George Allen (R-VA) now trails liberal Tim Kaine (D-VA) by just one point, according to the latest Rasmussen poll. Allen’s numbers also appear to be tracking closely with Romney’s numbers in the Commonwealth. Allen continues to focus his message on the economy and jobs, which will likely win undecided voters in the closing days of this critical race.
PENNSYLVANIA | Tom Smith | -2%
Conservative Tom Smith (R-PA) is now in a virtual tie with liberal incumbent Bob Casey (D-PA). Democrats are quietly beginning to worry about losing the Keystone State, especially as Romney continues to surge there. Harry Reid’s super PAC launched a new TV ad this week accusing Tom Smith of being weak on education. It’s garbage. Smith, whose wife taught in public schools for 38 years, will strengthen local education by reducing federal control and giving parents more choices.
MISSOURI | Todd Akin | -6%
Despite being abandoned by his own party, conservative Todd Akin (R-MO) is still within striking distance of liberal incumbent Claire McCaskill (D-MO). Earlier this month, the Associated Press published an analysis, stating, “businesses affiliated with the husband of Senator Claire McCaskill have received almost $40 million in federal subsidies for low-income housing developments during her first five years in office…” Her husband also used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, according to an audio recording obtained by The Daily Caller. Unfortunately, the media has largely ignored the scandal and the Republican establishment continues to refuse to lift a finger to support Akin.
