   As we’ve reported previously, the Republican Party forced Donald Trump to sign a loyalty pledge saying that he would support the Republican nominee and not run a third-party campaign. However, when it comes to showing Trump loyalty, the GOP establishment hasn’t reciprocated.

   In a report published Monday in the Washington Examiner, an unnamed “leading conservative” pledged “massive resistance” if the billionaire real estate mogul wins the GOP nomination.

   Another Republican insider said the establishment would be going after Trump with negative ads in early states.

   “I don’t think Trump can withstand 10,000 points of smart negative in Iowa and New Hampshire,” the unnamed strategist said. “It would force him to spend money. That’s when this starts to get real for him.”

   “Points,” for the uninitiated, is a political-insider term that refers to the level of an ad buy in a market. A 10,000-point buy would almost blanket the market with anti-Trump ads.

   To put that in perspective, when GOP establishment political action committee Club for Growth took out a massive ad campaign in Iowa against Trump, spending over $1 million months before the caucuses in that state, it made national headlines. Yet, that ad buy only amounted to 2,000 points.

   And according to Club for Growth President David McIntosh, those ad buys worked.

   “We primed the pump with our ads in Iowa,” McIntosh told the Washington Examiner. “We did some polling afterward. The ads flipped Trump from first to second place among caucus-goers and put a dent in his approval rating.”

   However, it’s noted that Trump has regained his lead in Iowa, and has seemed to outlast the attacks leveled against him so far.

   Trump also fought back against the Club for Growth ads by claiming that the organization had asked him for money and he had refused, leaving many to believe the ads were a form of shakedown for not playing ball.

   It’s unknown what form a new attack would take, but McIntosh seemed to indicate that the Club for Growth might be willing to lead it.

   “There is no other group that has decided to do it,” McIntosh said. “There are a large number of donors and political activists who want to do it.”

   No, Mr. McIntosh. There is a small coterie of party insiders and professional hacks who want to take Trump down. As any of Trump’s rallies will attest, a large numbers of donors and political activists are on The Donald’s side.

   That’s what the GOP establishment is afraid of, and it seems like they’ll do anything to keep what they see as the rabble from storming the castle. So much for a loyalty pledge.

   Just like the Quinnipiac Poll I posted above, these timid rabbits are afraid that The Trumper will pull that rabbit out of his hat to become successful…

   Iowa voters are not dumb, overall!

   We can smell liberal snot anytime it comes to the surface! This will not keep Trump from succeeding!
