nobody is dividing the conservatives.
In primary you need to vote for the new people, for people like Mike Le and Ted Cruz. In the general election you vote for a lesser of 2 evils, and that would be the GOP

As attorney general, would you get to pick which of the six states you’d be working in, or would you just be AG of all six until they have new elections?

it will take several years for CA to be divided.
first, people of CA need to approve the measure, then all other states in the US will have to vote for it.
if I get elected AG, I will probably finish my term in office before CA is divided

it did not come from me, it came from a billionaire Tim Draper, money is apparently no object for him.
To be fair, he came up with 6 regions due to the political grouping in CA. LA, SanFr and Sacramento are liberal, areas in between are ore conservative, hence 6 regions
