Like most Hollywood stars and assorted entertainment activists,  Ms. Streep lives in her own head, Dr. Taitz.  She’s Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke, better known by the pen name Isak Dinesen of ‘Out of Africa’, fame, even though Streep’s never written a novel, or lived on the Dark Continent, and any of the other characters she played on the silver screen.

Dinesen’s famous quote:”God made the world round so we would never be able to see too far down the road.”

The final quote from Streep’s Golden Globe speech: “One more thing: Once, when I was standing around on the set one day, whining about something — you know we were gonna work through supper or the long hours or whatever, Tommy Lee Jones said to me, “Isn’t it such a privilege, Meryl, just to be an actor?” Yeah, it is, and we have to remind each other of the privilege and the responsibility of the act of empathy. We should all be proud of the work Hollywood honors here tonight.”

The professionalism of acting pivots on pretending to be others.  Pretending to be others can be a dangerous thing, particularly for the “others”.

With the adulation of fans keeping their backs covered, it wasn’t long before Hollywood’s pretend people graduated cum laude from entertaining you to deciding for you which politician to support.

Hollywood and celebrity entertainers were on a roll this weekend.  On Friday, they were invited to the White House for President Barack Obama’s Farewell Party, which was really his ‘Going Away to Activism send-off’.  And, like Streep, they got to lecture the unwashed masses they consider their captive audience at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

All but impossible to rid Hollywood and roaming entertainment activists rom the Body Politic now that Entertainment is “The News”.

The passing of each one of them, no matter what circumstances of life took them away, dominates by far the passing of all other earthbound souls.

Blaring headlines, instant resurrection by digitalization is what now follows the typical celebrity obituary.

Common folk among the little people carry their heartache to the funerals of loved ones,  media unheralded and so achingly alone.

Taitz reminds us how Streep called out for the need to support the media and keep the new president’s feet to the fire:

“Are you kidding me, Meryl?

“Where were you and the rest of our corrupt and brain dead Hollywood and media when I and other attorneys and investigators exposed the fact that Obama is a fraud and a criminal who is using a stolen CT SSN 042-68-4425 and fabricated IDs?”

Where were they, Dr. Taitz.  Acting like the aggrieved party they never were.

There’s no mystery why Hollywood’s Obama’s biggest LoveFest when he’s only another actor just like them.

More than most others, celebrities and their heroes need to be reminded that “all glory and honour” is God Almighty’s.

Donald Trump is firing back at Meryl Streep after she very publicly criticized him in front of millions of people around the world at the Golden Globe Awards.

In an explosive six-minute speech on Sunday night, Streep did not hold back as she went after Trump for mocking disabled reporter Serge Kovaleski in November of 2015 during a campaign rally.
