![]() ANOTHER U.S. Border Agent has been UNJUSTLY IMPRISONED — Tell Congress to DEMAND a Full Pardon ALERT: Remember the Border Patrol agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who were prosecuted during the Bush years JUST FOR DOING THEIR JOBS, after pressure from the Mexican government? With less than 24 hours left in his presidency, George W. Bush at last granted clemency to the two former Border Patrol agents… but not before they had suffered solitary confinement and beatings by illegals in prison. NOW IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN — and this time, Border Patrol agent Jesus Diaz was falsely accused, arrested, prosecuted by the same office that prosecuted Ramos and Compean, thrown in prison, had his family fined, and is currently in federal prison serving a two-year criminal sentence in solitary confinement. THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS INJUSTICE — and YOU AND I need to FORCE the U.S. government to RIGHT THIS WRONG NOW! DEMAND THAT CONGRESS INVESTIGATE THE
WHAT FOLLOWED WAS A COMPLETE MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE. Just take a look these FACTS regarding the U.S. Justice Department’s case against Agent Diaz:
Ultimately, this kind of prosecution (in reality, persecution) of Border Patrol agents, including the case against Agent Diaz, sets a dangerous precedent for handling these issues in the future and could force agents to hesitate in the line of duty — posing a risk to their own lives and the lives of others. Border Patrol agents MUST be able to appropriately and effectively protect our nation’s border WITHOUT the threat of federal prosecution hanging over their head. We certainly do not condone the use of excessive or unreasonable force; however, the facts in this case do NOT indicate that the drug smuggler was harmed during the arrest, OR that excessive force was used. What the facts DO show is this: AGENT DIAZ HAS SUFFERED AN EXTREME MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE – and YOU AND I MUST FORCE THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO FIX THIS NOW! DEMAND THAT CONGRESS INVESTIGATE THE IT’S UP TO US TO FORCE CONGRESS TO DO THE RIGHT THING FOR AGENT DIAZ. He should NOT have to serve ONE MORE DAY in prison for just doing his job — please, take action NOW! Sincerely, P.S. To add insult to injury, the U.S. government is now imposing FINES of nearly $7,000 on the WIFE of the wrongfully-imprisoned Border Patrol agent! The Washington Times is reporting, “After successfully winning a two-year prison sentence against U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jesus E. Diaz Jr., the Justice Department is now trying to collect a $6,870 fine from his wife, saying it should be paid “immediately” — even though the judge signaled she would have a grace period.” The man is in PRISON, and the government is now going after his WIFE! On top of all of that, the government is now trying to COVER UP their misdeeds against Agent Diaz. WorldNet Daily has learned that the Obama regime is moving to impose a gag order in the Diaz case, in direct response to the publication by WND of an April 2009 Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Professional Responsibility report — which documented that the government initially had declined prosecution. PLEASE, take action RIGHT AWAY to DEMAND that Congress ensure a full Congressional investigation into the gross miscarriage of justice against U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jose Diaz, and DEMAND that Agent Diaz receive a FULL PARDON and restitution IMMEDIATELY — Thank you!
