New Details on Nebraska Bill that Requires Presidential Candidates Prove NATURAL BORN CITIZEN Status, Got CITIZEN Parents!?
ObamaRelease YourRecords on 10:26 AM
As reported here, here, here, here, here and here. Montana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Indiana, Connecticut and Missouri are pursuing legislation that will require presidential candidates prove their constitutional eligibility. The Nebraska bill goes a step further by requiring candidates to also submit certified copies of their parents long-form, birth certificates.
Snippet via McCook Daily Gazette; – Christensen introduces ‘birther bill’ –
The 14-page bill [bill embedded below], sponsored by District 44 State Sen. Mark Christensen of Holdrege, would prohibit placing presidential and vice presidential candidates on the state’s ballot unless they provide a certified, long-form version of their birth certificate to Nebraska’s secretary of state.
Christensen’s bill would also require candidates to provide their parents’ certified long-form birth certificates. If a person’s birth father is unknown, Christensen said a candidate would have to file an affidavit with the state, stating that they have no reason to believe their father is not a U.S. citizen….
…”Whenever you have a large amount of citizens who have doubts, it hurts our government. It hurts the integrity of the government,” Christensen said.
While Christensen said he “absolutely” believes Obama is a United States citizen [WHICH IS NOT THE SAME AS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN], he has doubts about the citizenship of Obama’s parents at the time of the president’s birth.
“This (bill) would remove that doubt,” he said. “I think that it hurts Americans when we think we can’t trust our leaders.”… –Source.
Previous report: Via WND; – 10 states now developing eligibility-proof demands – 107 Electoral College votes controlled by Arizona, Texas, Connecticut, others – By Bob Unruh
Arizona may have the most advanced plan, but 10 of the United States – controlling 107 Electoral College votes – are now considering some type of legislation that would plug the hole in federal election procedures that in 2008 allowed Barack Obama to be nominated, elected and inaugurated without providing proof of his qualifications under the U.S. Constitution.
And they aren’t all the simple legislation such as that adopted in New Hampshire a year ago that requires an affidavit from a candidate stating that the qualifications – age, residency and being a “natural born citizen” – have been met.
In Georgia, for example, HB37 by Rep. Bobby Franklin not only demands original birth-certificate documentation, it provides a procedure for and declares that citizens have “standing” to challenge the documentation.
Order your copy of Jerome Corsi’s upcoming blockbuster, “Where’s the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President,” autographed from the WND Superstore and be among the first get this historic book when it is released this spring.
Franklin told WND the least that leaders of the United States, on a state or federal level, can do is to follow the requirements of the law of the land.
His plan, he said, is needed because he saw “requirements in the Constitution that you don’t have a code provision to ensure that it happens.”
“If we as an entity of civil government don’t follow the laws, then what makes us think that our citizens are going to obey anything we enact?” he said. “We need to lead by example.”
WND reported just one day ago that Arizona, which had a plan to require documentation of eligibility from presidential candidates passed by the state House a year ago, had proposed a new plan.
According to officials with the National Conference of State Legislatures, 10 states already have some sort of eligibility-proof requirement plan.
There is Arizona’s HB2544, Connecticut’s SB391, Georgia’s HB37, Indiana’s SB114, Maine’s LD34, Missouri’s HB283, Montana’s HB205, Nebraska’s LB654, Oklahoma’s SB91, SB384 and SB540, and Texas; HB295 and HB529.
Led by Texas with 34, the states control 107 Electoral College votes.
The NCLS said New Hampshire last year adopted HB1245, but it requires only a statement under penalty of perjury that a candidate meets the qualification requirements of the U.S. Constitution, which is something similar to what the political parties already state regarding their candidates.
Other plans were considered last year in Texas, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota, Maine and Arizona, and Arizona’s probably got the closest to law, falling a “pocket veto” short in the state Senate, despite widespread support. …continued here; https://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=255965

Dr. Taitz
I read the Connecticut bill(SB391)as I am from that state. I noticed the bill asks for the original birth certificate and requires the person to be a natural born citizen.
Unfortunately the bill does not take into account not all states necessarily define original birth certificate in the same manner. Hawaii’s definition of birth certificate includes both the long form “Certificate of Birth” and short form “Certification of Live Birth” https://hawaii.gov/dhhl/applicants/appforms/applyhhl. As you are aware the COLB does not include key pieces of information, including the hospital where the person was born and the signature of the attending physician, that can only be found on the original long form. As you know Hawaii also issues the COLB to foreign born children. Moreover Hawaii will only issue a copy of the COLB when a request is submitted. Other states may have similar regulations. It is at least possible a Presidential candidate could still submit the COLB under Connecticut SB391, giving the appearance that person is Constitutionally qualified when in fact he or she could still not be a natural born citizen and possibly be a foreigner.
Another concern is the bill does not define “natural born citizen” thereby leaving it open to interpretation by those who would use a much more vague term than the definition in the Law of Nations stating a natural born citizen is one born of a country whose parents are citizens of that country.
I contacted the author of the bill, State Senator Michael McClachlan, to express my concerns with the wording of the bill. I spoke to his aide who asked me to email her my concerns. I did so. I can forward the email to you if you like.
My point to all of this is that it may not be enough for these states to submit a bill if the wording is not specific enough to verify the person is actually a natural born citizen. People of those states should thoroughly read the bill to confirm the legislation leaves no doubt it will confirm the candidate is a natural born citizen.

Thank you for caring enough to actually read the bill SB 391.
Also for bringing it to the attention the senator, author and to us here….
This is what needs to be discussed for each bill.
Some people have made comments to us about the H.R.1503 bill and we did the same about contacting the author congressman Bill Posey.
I don’t think a more detailed and in depth vetting process is too much to ask for in these very modern times.
We need to secure our nation and send a message to the world…
After all we are only talking about the president of the USA.
And the security of our nation.
It is time to get tough and make some demands to our reps.
I hope that the American people know what time it is..We have got to fight for our country and we need to secure the presidential office for natural born American citizens only.. who have parents meaning both that are American citizens ASAP!
Maybe it should be a requirement for the parents to be natural born American citizens and the grand parents to be also.
The security of our nation is at hand ….read the bills and demand changes where needed.
We have had enough…..

@Dan – another more fundamental issue with all these bills, including the one being promoted by birther state reps in CT, is the fact that states do not have the Constitutional right to define eligibility. That is a federal issue, and in fact is clearly defined in the Constitution. Any changes to the nature or definition of Presidential eligibility would require a Constitutional amendment.
Regarding current law, every state determines it’s own manner and method of recording and verifying vital records, and every other state is Constitutionally bound to give full faith and credit to the documents of all states. So CT doesn’t get to decide what constitutes a lawful birth record in HI, or anywhere else.

you are wrong. the ballots are state ballots. the states have a right to verify that only Constitutionally eligible candidates are placed on their state ballots

jon, each state has a S.O.S., who does the vetting!!!! So this next time, there will be “no guessing” or “being lax”!
And if you would list that section of the Constitution where it “clearly states” that the states can’t “CLEARLY DEFINE” eligibility rules…I’d like to read that!
But the problem was, that no one expected someone to come along to “open up the Book of Revelations”!! The Constitution does a decent job…but anyone with the wisdom and “common sense” of our Founders would naturally want to “correct” something that “slipped through the cracks” in our system!
So jon, you are out-voted! Patriots have the majority! We will PROTECT this Nation against “diseased” thinking!!!
After what’s happened with Obo being “crowned king,” I don’t think anyone is going to have a problem with “straightening this out”! If you’re not a constitutional attorney, jon, just go back to being “spaced out” on something “illegal”!
And this is just the beginning of “correcting” that “Crack in the Liberty Bell”!!! No thanks to you!!
