   Dear Maher: Not true, but even if it were, that is not an argument against the right to carry a gun just because one likes to do so. Of course, it is good self-defense, and a good deterrent to criminals who might attack others, but we don’t need these facts to justify any action that is free, that does not affect anyone else’s rights.

   If things keep heading in the direction they are, boy is he going to be surprised.
   He obviously doesn’t understand how most of the military feels about their oaths, either. If the time comes, it will not be a few people here and there in small groups, it will be masses of individuals alongside a split military, military personnel both active and retired, law enforcement personnel, and many others.
   It will be worse than the War Between the States, in that those involved will not be wanting to just be left alone to a new nation, but recover the nation that has been stolen. In that war, the Leaders and armies of the South were among the best in the United States military, they were not groups of people here and there. The coming war, if it happens, will not be started by individual citizens.

   People who have gotten too comfortable being “kept” citizens would do well to look around the world and see that no place is peaceful where tyranny exists and liberty is in the hearts of the citizens. Our founders knew that liberty is worth paying for with blood, and death is better than living without it. Gosh…

   Wow! Talk about “Babbling Bobble-heads!” Maher and O’Donnell are just a couple of mouthpieces for the nwo! Who’s really living in Fantasyland? It’s these two!

   America is just and righteous in our cause. This isn’t Waco or Ruby Ridge. The difference now is O and the nwo are on the scene. And this involves the entire United States!! So, if there’s gun control and martial law, America will DEFEND OURSELVES—PERIOD!!! Now, what part of your insanity don’t you understand???

    Exactly what I would expect from such an ignorant man and utter coward. Maher has proven himself time and again to be a “Know Nothing” blow hard.

    The fact is that the U.S. government would have it’s hands full should the citizenry ever decide to revolt. Look at Afghanistan – some of the most primitive people in the world and NOBODY has been able to defeat them, including the modern armies of Russia and this United States. If the most advanced and well-armed military in the world cannot win a decisive victory against the 7th Century Afghani rebels, what in hell do these people think will happen when they are up against 100 Million well-armed and well-trained twenty-first-century gun-toting Americans? Are you kidding me? No doubt, the number of civilian casualties will be high, but a mere 3% of just gun-owners in this country is more people than all branches of our military and police forces COMBINED. No doubt, they will resort to chemical and biological warfare as well as drones and maybe even “Yard Farming” – but they will have a hell-of-a-fight on their hands. And even if they “win”, what will be left will hardly be worth having, not to mention that they will have lost the hearts and minds of the people long before the war concludes. No, I wouldn’t be so sure that America is “past it”. “Give me liberty or give me death: is not just so cute slogan we learned in history class. It is a real philosophy for literally MILLIONS of Americans who will fight to the death should these tyrants decide to try their luck.

    There is NO DOUBT in my mind that this is where we are headed, and based on the gun and ammo sales over the last few years, apparently MILLIONS of Americans agree with me. I am ready, practically speaking with more than adequate stock piles of guns and ammo, as well as mentally and spiritually. I am fully prepared to fight, and die if necessary, to defend my freedom. What do we have to lose? If we do not defeat these tyrants, we have no future anyway – so why not give it all we have? These idiots that attempt to invalidate or ridicule those of us who are ready, willing and able to rock’n’roll have demonstrated that they do not understand the true American Spirit AT ALL.
