Our founders never envisioned that people elected to Congress would require full-time participation. The farmers, businessmen, etc., would only meet with the House or Senate for a few weeks a year, and would retain their full-time employment back in their respective states. I would eagerly welcome as President anyone who is NOT a politican, most of whom are corrupt if they stay in office longer than about 2 years. And I would eagerly welcome Ben Carson, with whom I have not seen reason to disagree on any of his statements. But, just as I predicted based on history, as soon as someone announces they’re running, or starts gaining in popularity, the Democrats and the liberal media would begin their snarky character assassins, and that is exactly what is happening to Dr. Carson now. Just as the Democrats paid women to say they had affairs with Herman Cain, they will continue their dirty assertions with the most prominent of conservative candidates. In Dr. Carson’s case, using the same language they used on Obama’s critics, they should similarly be called ‘racists.’
