67 MKs back Netanyahu as next PM, only 29 back Herzog Israel Hayom. The election was not even close

As I was saying all along, the election in Israel was not even close. Israelies do not directly vote for the prime minister, they vote for parties to take seats in the parliament and then the members of the parliament advice the President, whose role is largely ceremonial, who do they chose to lead the ruling coalition. 67 members of parliament supported Netanyahu, only 29 supported leftist Herzog, 11 supported Yair Lapid and 13 Arabic members supported their Arabic candidate.
