I have not seen it mentioned here, but hidden in one of the stories that Fox online put out….George and Laura Bush visited the wounded at Fort Hood yesterday. No fanfare, no photo op, cameras or press, just 1 to 2 hours spent with those victims who were wounded in this “TERRORIST” act. Now THAT’S what a real president would do. Love him or hate him, George Bush was dedicated to our military and keeping this country safe.

Yes, I heard about the visit by George and Laura to the wounded Ft. Hood soldiers yesterday on a short news report. I don’t remember hearing of any visit to the wounded by the alleged president, did you? I doubt Obama cares enough to break away from his efforts to ram the health care bill down our throats to go see those poor soldiers. The alleged president is too busy focusing on how to gain more control over We The People with his health reform.

God bless him and his family! He was a good president and I believe history will show that to be the case.

Yes he may had good intentions, but he played the fool for the left wingers, allowing them to take the election with minimal opposition.

How do you reconcile that?? It feels as though Bush led the people into a trap

KBB….I understand that Obama decided to go to Camp David instead of to Fort Hood. No surprise. He won’t be going to the ceremonies at the Berlin Wall either because the tearing down of the wall represented Freedom and what President Reagan stood for, but certainly NOT what Obama stands for.

Dominick…I do miss Bush!!! I agree, he was a good president, though he made mistakes too. I’ll take Bush’s imperfections over what we have in the white house right now, Anyday!!!
