Victory for freedom of speech
Dutch MP Geert Wilders wins case against UK government
Last February Mr. Wilders MP, chairman of the Dutch Freedom Party, was invited by Lord Pearson and Baroness Cox (Members of the House of Lords) to show his movie ‘Fitna’ in the British parliament.
Upon his arrival at Heathrow airport he was denied entry into the United Kingdom by the UK Secretary of State on grounds that his statements and beliefs would threaten community harmony and therefore public security in the UK.
Today the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal ruled that the decision of the Secretary of State was unjust.
Mr. Wilders: “This excellent decision of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal is a triumph for freedom of speech! Fortunately the British judges are wiser than the UK Government. I will definitely visit the UK soon now”.
“I would like to thank my brilliant barrister Mr Arfan for his great work. Also, I would like to thank the chairman of the Birkenhead Society, Mr A. Pandiya for generously funding my appeal and also my solicitor Mr T. Emezie for his generous support.”

Way to go, Orly!!!! You looked beautiful and sounded intelligent when you faced off against Joy on HL tonight!!! She was rude, interrupting you like a typical LIB, but you handled yourself with the utmost professionalism and grace. You are an amazing, courageous lady and we stand behind you every step of the way! You were able to put out some very good information, despite Joy’s attempts to discredit you, and in a few instances, it appeared like the cat had gotten her tongue! We love you, Orly.
