Orly:
Your site wouldn’t let me post this in regards to the Alex Jones post, so I thought I’d send it this way. Here’s what I intended to post:
There’s a lot that Alex could do to better employ his platform rather than just holler and explode in histrionics each day. The first amendment ensures these “journalists” unprecedented powers and protections to be the watchdogs for the people (where the corrupt MSM betrays us with lies) — the founders evidently EXPECTED them to assume and honor that role in truly proactive ways. And I’m stunned that those in the alternative media have not better unified and coalesced their collective audiences to actually DO something of true significance beyond just informing us (that’s important, too, and it deserves respect, but they’re failing in using their platforms to ORGANIZE something that can actually create a widespread and legitimate action for change and reclamation). I believe the leaders in the alternative media should take advantage of the powers the first amendment gives them and marry their information, audiences, and their clearly awesome legal teams to create a national database to petition Congress and the White House on important matters. Think what they could do if they put aside their pettiness and competitions with each other: their audiences are VAST, and among them they have the lion’s share of the American public listening to them (Alex, Rush, Glenn Beck, Savage, Hannity, Levin, especially). They’re missing the boat just hollering in separation when they could unify their machines and actually be instruments of powerful, powerful change. They’d better do something remarkable pretty soon to protect themselves and make themselves publicly indispensable before this administration pushes forward on putting them all out of business (which they thirst to do). Then we’ll all be in a world of woeful, uninformed hurt.
Signed,
Ever Hopeful

We are already in a lot of hurt. The present bunch in Washington are spending way more than we are earning to pay off voter bases. Meanwhile they have shut down our economy with the global warming lie by paying off the farmers with the alcohol mandates. The Station owners are guaranteed a profit with deficit spending. Looks like it has to collapse to get fixed, if that’s possible after waiting this long and putting over 90 million out of work.

Radio talk show hosts have MASSIVE egos.
That fact, plus the realities of radio syndicate/market share competition precludes them from ever working together in the manner you suggest.
Good idea in principle. In a saner world, perhaps.

This is a sentiment I have tried to express on occasion myself. Of those that are in a position, through chance or talent, there are none who will take that extra step and confront the one single issue that would have prevented this whole tragic experience of this illegal occupancy of the office of president by someone whose very citizenship is questionable, and is without question not a “Natural Born American Citizen.”
I was quite disgusted by one local radio host claiming to be conservative, of greenville S.C. who belligerently stated on air that “this is my show; if you want something done get your own show.” Not at me of course, but it was someone suggesting he did have a responsibility to the people.
Of course we do know it is not such a simple matter to be granted such a position and no doubt they are closely monitored and screened as to their subject matter. As you suggest, their is absolutely no reason or excuse for them not to make a cooperative effort to expose truthful facts.

This administration gets away with murder. Literally. The Supreme court is scared to death of them. Correction, the entire judicial system is scared to death of them. Obama can just about do anything he wants by executive order. Talk show hosts don’t want to deal with the problems they would face from the IRS etc. We need real patriots to come forward and support Orly and those who have the guts to face up to Obama and his supporters.

Alex Jones is an act – he is actually the entertainer Bill Hicks. Seriously.
