Through his Rogers Ancestors, Mitt Romney can count a Second Christian Martyr among his ancestors, that being John “the Martyr” Rogers, burned at the stake by Queen Mary.

John Rogers had studied with Luther in Wittenberg, Germany and refused Mary’s order to return to the Roman Rite. While led to the stake, his wife and 11 children said goodbye to him as he refused a last minute amnesty for his recantation.

This line connects Mitt Romney  to both Presidents Bush and to Edith (Ellen) Bolling who later became Mrs. Woodrow Wilson.

His ancestor, Thomas Rogers signed the Mayflower Compact.

His connection to American Democracy is solid, while Obama’s link to Taqiyya and Deceit are overt.
