21 states, nearly a half of the nation, have the same laws as Indiana, they guarantee that small florists and bakers are not ruined financially for refusing to be a part of a gay wedding, which is against their religious views

If the democrats retain control of the administration it will just be a matter of time before The Catholics will start losing their heads in this country. The democrats are sponsoring it around the world now. In fact Catholics are already being killed in this country for being Catholics. All it takes is wasteful deficit spending entitlements and special rights to enough voters to get the job done. The record is not refutable. It is all blamed on the GOP, the boy scouts, the Church or anything that stands in the way of this evil. Gays need help but are being used by those in power to help get the job done. Reference Rom 1:21-32. God punished us for not worshiping Him but instead His Creations. In punishment men developed lust for men and women lust for women and therefore suffered the consequences to their persons. They became ingenious in their wickedness. On this anniversary of the Lenten season and the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ from whom all our blessings flow, may God once again have mercy on us.

Not like there’s a law against catering to pervert; its just freedom to choose not to soil ones own soul.
Most of us have conscience enough to be ashamed of our sins. Even atheists know right from wrong, though some may use their denial of God to excuse their sin. But these perverts, they want all to celebrate their sins in faux pride to ease their conscience.

…. WOW … is it that simple a process … just think what would happen if a similar National Religious Freedom Law was passed as an amendment to the US Constitution … would all LGBT’s boycott the USA and all them move over to Europe??? … forget about marriage equality laws … just KISS !!!!
… in fact such disenchanted LGBT’s could be sent to the developing Muslim countries as sort of a Peace Corp type financial program instead of sending USA tax dollars to such countries … to help the countries develop their economies with all of the LGBT’s financial expertise and assets (they are smart and financially successful you know) … WOW … why hasn’t anyone thought of this idea before …. I can think of a couple countries in need in the news right now … Syria, Yemen, Northern Iraq, Iran … I am sure that the LGBT’s would be welcomed with open arms and …

There IS a NATIONAL “Religious Freedom Restoration Act”.
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, Pub. L. No. 103-141, 107 Stat. 1488 (November 16, 1993), codified at 42 U.S.C. § 2000bb through 42 U.S.C. § 2000bb-4 (also known as RFRA), is a 1993 United States federal law aimed at preventing laws that “substantially burden” a person’s free exercise of religion. The bill was introduced by Congressman Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on March 11, 1993 and passed by a unanimous U.S. House and a near unanimous U.S. Senate with three dissenting votes[1] and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Governor Pence Issues Statement Regarding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act
———————
“Fortunately, in the 1990s Congress passed, and President Clinton signed, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act—limiting government action that would infringe upon religion to only those that did not substantially burden free exercise of religion absent a compelling state interest and in the least restrictive means.
—————
“In order to ensure that religious liberty is fully protected under Indiana law, this year our General Assembly joined those 30 states and the federal government to enshrine these principles in Indiana law, and I fully support that action.
“This bill is not about discrimination, and if I thought it legalized discrimination in any way in Indiana, I would have vetoed it. In fact, it does not even apply to disputes between private parties unless government action is involved. For more than twenty years, the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act has never undermined our nation’s anti-discrimination laws, and it will not in Indiana. [snip]

Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Explained
——————–
Is the Religious Freedom Restoration Act really a license to discriminate against gay people?
No. Stanford law professor Michael McConnell, a former appellate court judge, tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD in an email: “In the decades that states have had RFRA statutes, no business has been given the right to discriminate against gay customers, or anyone else.” [snip]

Shocker! Obama Didn’t Vote Present, He Voted For Illinois Religious Freedom Reformation Act In 1998…
IL RFRA
Votes in the past don’t matter, that was a long time ago.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest took aim Sunday at Indiana’s newly signed religious-freedom law, saying it appears to “legitimize discrimination,” even as critics said that President Obama voted in favor of a similar law as an Illinois state senator.
“When you have a law like this one in Indiana that seems to legitimize discrimination, it’s important for everybody to stand up and speak out,” said Mr. Earnest on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
Just before Mr. Earnest made his comments, however, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence defended the law in an interview on the same show, noting that the federal government and 19 other states previously passed a Religious Freedom Reformation Act, including Illinois.
After President Bill Clinton signed the federal Religious Freedom Reformation Act (RFRA) in 1993, “some 19 states followed that, and after last year’s Hobby Lobby case, Indiana properly brought the same version that then-state Sen. Barack Obama voted for in Illinois,” Mr. Pence said.
Indiana Senate Republicans made the same point in a Thursday press release: “The bipartisan respect for religious freedom has also carried over to the votes for most state-level RFRAs. For example, when President Obama was an Illinois State Senator in 1998, he voted for Illinois’ RFRA.”
Mr. Obama served as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004. The Illinois RFRA took effect in July 1998.
Mr. Earnest dismissed the argument: “If you have to go back two decades to try to justify something that you’re doing today, it may raise some questions about the wisdom of what you’re doing.”
